Nourishment for body and soul. Joe and Paul feel like family and they serve a taste of paradise. I came for the coffeehouse vibe - good music, great coffee and a welcoming place to flip up my laptop and work. With Pauls addition of savory meals to the menu and the expanded weekend hours, our family has come to rely on Cedar Ridge for brunch, lunch and a Sunday scone run as well. My favorites? Cheddar sriracha scones, cowboy muffins, breakfast burritos. There are usually vegan options as well. Always check for special baked goods using in-season fruit. the blueberry bundt is a summer highlight.

Went here for the first time this weekend, we had just moved to the area about four months ago and I have to say this place is what Maplewood is all about! They were friendly, the food was amazing, and the environment was cozy. Im proud we have this in our town! Even though they were busy, they still made sure we were doing alright. I had the vegan french toast and a siracha sconewich both were amazing! Last minute I got the vegan cheese-its also a must, whether youre vegan or not. The prices were fair, food and drink amazing, and the environment/staff unbeatable! A definite must visit!

Every single thing you want in a neighborhood spot. Amazing coffee, scones, lunch specials...and the BLT Joe. Seriously. Its a BLT, on a wrap. With a fried egg. Sounds simple? Strange? Its a GAME CHANGER. The place is cute as can be, and Paul and Joe are just about everything you want in pro owners and in-house entertainment. As a friend remarked the other day, its a little slice of The Village, straight out of NYC, with a perfect Maplewood spin. Yes, I dig this place.

Awesome baked goods. Sconewich is worth the trip alone. Coffee drinks exceptional. But mostly its the people, both the staff and the customers. Its like the living room Ive always wanted - filled with like minded neighbors (and some with different opinions Im sure) all enjoying a cup of Joe and a meal together. Well worth the trip. It wont be your only visit, no matter how far away you live. Luckily, Im right around the corner. See ya there!

This is my literal happy place. Their iced coffee is divine, for starters. Each day they have something a little different to try on top of their old faithfuls. Breakfast is always a treat, whether youre a sconewich or muffin person. Their lunch menu is equally delicious! And its a great place to bring the kiddies and make neighborhood friends.

GREAT cafe! Had lunch 11/2013. Shrimp roll sandwich was fabulous: Bay shrimp? no, meaty, tasty sliced big shrimp. All celery? No, just enough for a little crunch. Goopy mayo? No, just enough to hold it together. And the owner and wait staff couldnt have been nicer or more friendly. If I lived here, this would be an instant regular destination.

Going out of my way for cappuccino but many times just find they are closed, or in a hurry to close not willing to accommodate customer... Advice shut cappuccino machine when you close no a half hour before. As for me i wont bother driving there ever again.

Well worth a trip up the hill from the center of Maplewood. Excellent coffee and espresso drinks, salads and sandwiches. Highly recommend the maple-bacon scone. Also, the friendly staff will make you feel like a million bucks.

Great place for breakfast and lunch, with a great neighborhood vibe thrown in for free. Vegan baked goods are a great plus. Can get unpredictably crazy with parents with small kids suddenly arriving all at once.

Just ate here. Working around the corner. Had the mac and bbq cheese. Amazing tasting even for nonvegans. Excellent service as well. Ps. Try there spicy sauce on top of the mac and cheese. Its perfect.

Truly a local gem, feels both intimately suburban (think "Cheers" but with coffee instead of beer) and like a quirky coffeehouse transported from Brooklyn or Berkeley. And the food is spectacular, too.

Hidden gem! We went for the mochas, which were amazing. Seeing all the baked goods and savory breakfast dishes, we plan on going back for that next time.
