zero stars!!!! I do not suggest this place at all! Stay far away!! Unprofessional and complete lack of customer service and respect. I came here after receiving ok reviews from my coworkers and based on my price research they did come in at the cheapest (but not by a landslide). The place is a hole in the wall but whatever after my experience with them I will pay the extra money to bring it to the dealership. As the technician was removing my old tire from the wheel the machine caused the finish on my forged wheels to chip. Immediately he notified another employee, Im guessing the manager. The manager said he would take care of it and have it fixed for me by sending it to a body shop. He went back inside and the owner came out refusing to pay for anything and take any responsibility. I think he saw me (a young girl in a tshirt and jeans) and thought he could get over on me. The owner was very unprofessional, rude, and an arrogant troll. He said he wasnt going to pay for any of the damage even after the technician acknowledged he caused the damage and the manager said they would take care of it. He claimed he wouldnt pay bc my wheel was cracked. Which is another situation. I went in to replace a bubble on my tire. I have TPMS so any leaks caused by a cracked wheel or whatever would have been known before i went to the shop.. So at this point I am still unsure if they cracked my wheel in addition to damaging and scratching the face of the wheel. The owner reneged on every offer to any solution. I called several shops and the dealership to get quotes for the damage just on the finish which is about $200. The owner claimed to do the same and said it would only cost $125. I even offered to meet him half way between the two quotes, about 160ish and then he said ok half way i will give you $75. WTF!!! he tried to manipulate the situation. he also refused to put any agreement in writing. He was trying to get over on me and not accept the responsibility. At that point i was so pissed off I called the cops. In the end, I received $150 for the damage. not enough to cover everything but whatever enough for me to walk away and never return. btw, one of my coworkers in the past had gone to them and they broke the lug nut while removing them to change the tire and they had the audacity to charge him for the damage. complete BS! Know your rights! if someone damages your property they are responsible for the repair and/or replacement.

I went here 2 times. The first time they screwed up on their inventory and I had to wait for them to get a tire from a warehouse. I only overheard this. I was not informed nor did they apologize for it. I was half asleep 1 hour after closing and I can hear them making fun of me while that fat guy eats potato chips behind the counter. I been working doing REal work all day and I have to deal with this?? The second time I came to have 2 used tires put in on my wheels. They told me 15 to 20 minutes. I was there for almost an hour. I took the car home and the next day a tire was flat! I inspected the tires before they installed them and they were no signs of damage at all. I removed the tire and inspected it with soap. Thats when I found a new hole on the inner side of the tire! They were probably expecting me to come back, Tell me theres no proof that they did it, and try to get me to buy brand new ones. The hole looked like a nail was shot into it and pulled out. Dont trust these people. I have been there only twice and both experiences were BAD!!! Forgot to mention. They force threaded all my lug nuts on with an impact gun and probably didnt start them by hand. I had to re-thread 2 bolts and all of them had metal shreds on them.

These guys get 4.5 stars, rounding down to make a point (always something to improve). About 6 months ago my fiancé got a flat tire. STS said they needed to replace the tire and quoted her over $200! I told my fiancé to go to QDT. They plugged it for 10 bucks! And that was 6 months ago! Cant beat that. Recently I got a flat, unrepairable. QDT was able to get my exact tire in the same day at a cheaper price than I paid when I bought the tires at Sams 2.5 years ago. I questioned the gentleman if I should get two tires to avoid uneven tires, and he said my tires were fine and I only needed 1. Obviously they are not trying to rip me off by selling me an additional tire. Great service, great price, but could work on communicating in a more friendly manner. Also could offer a bit of analysis such as "we looked over all your tires, rims look good, tire pressure good, etc.."". I want to leave knowing I am in overall good shape.

I dont know who wrote the bad reviews but Id hope they can show me a better deal... Granted the place isnt the nicest looking... Its not messy or dirty, it just looks like youre in an old fashioned garage... there is small waiting area that also serves as their office space... but the guys are nice and honest... they are good ole fashioned working people... they make no attempt at making the place aesthetically pleasing at all... But if youre looking to save hundreds $$$ this is the place to go... I bought four tires for my truck (the name brand I was looking for) for $120 each, installed. Everywhere else my tires costs about $150 each plus $5 to $25 per tires to install... You do the math... $145 -$220 savings... SO if youre too good to save that kinda dough then go someplace else and leave this gem of a tire place to those of us who appreciate a little break for the wallet.

Just bought 4 tires for the pickup truck that we use to haul mulch and let the kids drive to the high school. Got a great price for some decent daily driver tires. Drove in and drove out in 45 minutes. The aesthetics clearly have not changed in many decades but I kind of like the throw back style of the place. Everyone there clearly is in and knows the tire business. They were professional and easy to do business with.... and the best price around for tires with mounting, balancing, etc. I will continue buying my tires at Quality Discount Tire of Randolph. -Not sure what to make of the bad reviews. So different from both my experiences and that of other I know. Have to wonder if it is people put off by the looks of the place.

Ive gone here for years. Im going again today to get a new set (4) tires. Im having a hard time understanding the negative reviews. I understand customer service is very important in any business. Judging the customer service here, against a canned corporate version of customer service is pointless. If you want overcharged service with a smile and a Hypothetical prorated warranty (that every tire shop gets out of) go to a large tire outlet. If you want fair prices for quality tires come here. This will be my 5th set of tires (going today). I put about 40k miles a year on my car. Switching brands today to Firestone just because. Quoted 107 per tire m/b vs 149 at STS.
