Today my what day was off to a horrendous start. When I went to start my car this morning it would not turn on I called AAA they gave me a jump and I was on my way to a 30-minute ride to a flea market. After about 6 hours of walking eating and shopping I was ready to leave to my surprise I tried to start my car and my battery would not power the vehicle here I was again waiting to be jumped. After about an hour of frustration and finally my battery taking a charge I went to Advance Auto Parts on Nottingham Way Hamilton New Jersey. I had a wonderful experience, keep in mind it was about 90 degrees today and I have an infant son I was helped right away they came they tested my battery outside they printed out the test report that showed my battery was completely shot and I would need a replacement they were kind to tell me they did have my battery in stock but they would not be able to do the free install or any installation because of the make and model of my vehicle the battery is hidden under the computer so it makes it difficult and would be a liability for one of their employees to attempt to install. Luckily my brother lives local and he met me at their store and he talked with the manager there we purchased the battery for my vehicle they granted me a discount because of the inconvenience and they explained to my brother how to do the installation of the battery. I had such a positive experience and I also was told if I take my battery back to them my used one I can get $22 for it all in all I had a great experience the customer service is five-star I recommend this location to anyone in Hamilton New Jersey. You deserve no star for the treatment I just got. Your lazy employee would not help me find my hood opener, finally after 5 minutes he tried the latch on the hood and wow it opened!! Very uninterested in helping me. I needed a battery that was cleaned with baking soda before I went over there, he didnt know what the liquid was so he wouldnt install a battery. Wow, there are rubber gloves that can be used!! It WAS WATER!!! I go to Advanced alot for things, I will no longer be patronizizing your store. Get some energy sir!!

Good store location, but be careful with the online store, they double charged my credit card and I couldnt get anyone from online customer service. The in store return policy was the only positive experience. I had to have my accounts frozen - it was a nightmare.... but the store location were great in processing my returns of $200+ of odd shaped car parts I literally had to drag in the store. Smh... lesson learned

Knowledgeable employees... They dont ask if you need help you must seek one of them out and good luck with that... If what seems like the only employee in the store is already helping someone they will make you stand there forever.... They seem reasonably priced for engine parts though... It seems like that for the other auto part store down the street too.. They are very similar

I have 3 auto stores local to me but I prefer this one. The rewards program is decent and the parts so far have been great. I gave up on pep boys after their new parts failed twice. Courteous employees and just enough of what I seem to always need.
