My boyfriend and I went to the cracker barrel in Clinton the other night for a late dinner. We were sat down and when greeted by our server who was a young man you could tell he wasnt overly thrilled to have had another table. As the night went on we ordered our meals, drinks, and such, but as a server I know if you see an empty glass on the table you ask to refill it which he didnt. He also neglected to ask us how our meals were and when he did check to see how we were doing, he yelled to us from another table he was cleaning "you guys good". Not only was that very rude but unprofessional as well. When he saw we were done he approached the table our plates untouched and clearly empty. My boyfriend asked for some more water he said sure, and walked away not taking our empty plates with him. He returned and we preceded to order desert, he said sure and walked away still not taking our empty plates with him that we stacked and slid to the edge of the table to make it easier for him to carry. When he returned with our desert he didnt bring any silverware to eat with so we had to wait until he came back. We are not picky and would never and did not complain, but as former servers we know what is expected and acceptable and this experience was not either of the two which is sad because it is one of our favorite places to come.

Only reason Im giving it two stars is because I enjoy the food at the restaurant, we waited about an hour for our food only to find out it was done for a while and sat there cause the waitress forgot about it. We finally get our food (and get the biscuits after the food cause she forgot about them) and two bites in she comes over and asked if we wanted dessert and we were all very confused as we just got our meals all of about two minutes beforehand and when we said no, she handed us our check and said shell be back around in a few minutes. It was around 8:00 and she was very clearly in a rush to get out of work. I normally enjoy this restaurant very much, I travel over an hour to come here and this was a miserable experience that I hope to never have again.

Breakfast is generally decent quality, but the bacon was over cooked, and the 2 slices of orange on the plate were paper thin. Pancakes were good. Dinner options are always hit or miss. Big miss here. My wife ordered the shrimp, which came out about 20 minutes later (they were not busy) and extremely overlooked. Looked like turds on the plate. That aside, they were obviously poor quality breaded shrimp. The waitress said she would tell the manager, but we never saw said manager. The cashier was equally indifferent, although he professed his gratuitous sadness, but we still had to pay for a crappy meal that was hardly touched. Done with Cracker Barrel.

Was here after playing some golf at Morgan Hill. It was early September the weather had already had the feeling of fall. Leaves blowing in the heavy winds and there was a cool cold rain. The parking lot was packed but we were seated quickly as there was only two of us. I was looking for a soup something warming and reminiscent of home. They had a Shepards pie lunch special however it was dinner and they were not offering that in the evening. I decided on a prime rib sandwich with caramelized onions with a dipping sauce. It did hit the spot. Our waitress was Ashley and she was sublime we enjoyed her company. Overall it was a fair meal and a relaxed enjoyable time.

Good food like always, but the service was not up to the normal Cracker Barrel par... Waited a while for the waiter to even come around, a little longer than normal for food. They brought only / biscuits out because they didnt have cornbread....but didnt replace the con bread with not biscuits? Also no butter was brought out with them and by the time we got butter the biscuits were cold (mind you the waiter never came back over to ask how the food was until we signaled him. Extra napkins never given as asked...wont come back to THIS location but still love the food at Cracker Barrel and the service everywhere else.

Typical restaurant waitress service (which is not the standard Cracker Barrel waitress service that Ive come to expect). Always had complimentary bread served prior to entrees, having been to at 4 different Cracker Barrel restaurants, but no such luck here. Portions seem smaller than what Id typically receive at the other Cracker Barrel restaurants. One would think that you cant screw up Country Fried Steak, but they somehow did (it was too fatty...where do you get fat from hamburger meat?!). Also, the meat gravy tasted smoky as if I was eating firewood ash.

Had dinner at Cracker Barrel in Clinton. Portions smaller than we remembered. Wrong gravy on the potatoes. Tried to get that corrected, but waitress jumped the gun and got me plain mashed potatoes. Next trip she brought gravy and the other things we needed. Her first trip she appeared to have an attitude - second trip not so much. Had to search out server for a to-go order and to get the check.

Stopped here 2 times on our trip up to New Hampshire and back. We had breakfast both times. The first breakfast was great. Second one was sub-par. and the waitress was very awkward, not attentive at all. Our breakfast that we asked for cooked well, came out under cooked, bacon looked like wet noodles. The french toast was wet inside. We usually like our stops here. But food should be cooked more.

Typical Cracker Barrel. Always busy but most of the time you dont wait too long. Service is generally good, and the food is pretty great pretty much all of the time. I give 4 stars because we go so often weve seen a number of small but anything things like messy bathroom, inattentive host/hostess, and food not quite up to their standards. But overall really like this place.

Great food horrible service. Today after waiting for 30 min for a take our the waitress comes and tells me she forgot to put the food in and will do so now and be right out and is gone for 10 min by then I had it and asked them to cancel the order and walled out. I am a frequent statue at the Hampton and they are always slow even when its empty.

Great visit. Bathroom was clean and smelled pleasant. We called ahead in case there was a wait and were told to go to the website, as they dont do call-ahead seating. We got seated almost immediately. Our server Katie was super friendly. Food was just as expected. Lots of fun things to buy in the store. Left with a (bakers) dozen of biscuits.

The food was very good. However the service was horrible. I saw my waiter a total of 2 times once I place the order and once when he placed the check on the table. I was never brought my drink that I ordered. I have been to this restaurant a few times over the years and I always feel fleetly rushed in and out of the restaurant.
