Commons 7 opened in 2010 with its new fork and screen format. The first thing anyone should know is the bill can get high very quickly. There are still ways to keep it reasonable. [1st. to get a ticket and not have them automatically charge you non-refundable credits to use to purchase food, you must purchase your ticket from the person at the customer service desk, not the automated kiosk. You must specify you want the tickets only and not the experience. Dont worry, you can still order from the server, the point is that youre not locked into spending a minimum on their food. Stay firm, as they may some line to guilt you for buying only the ticket.] They may have changed this since first opening, I have not tried to use the automated ticket booth since the last time I went there was only one working, and there was a line to use it. 2nd many menu items either have cheese, are a fried foods, or are dessert. Even the salads come with fried chicken, not grilled. This may cause you to feel weighed down. You may also not feel full after eating in the dark, as you dont see the food go in your mouth. 3rd. the classic items like popcorn dont seem to be listed on every menu, but theyre there, and can still be ordered. I have only seen popcorn served as one size on a plate, but this could change too. 4th the rewards program is no longer free, you need to buy a subscription to join the program. Its not worth it if you see less than 5 movies a year. 5th to keep it cheap understand the price increases at noon and at 4pm - try to go when the tickets cost less. Friday - Sunday have a different pricing setup than the weekdays. However, in going early, you will have more kids in the theater, if you dont want to see a show with kids they have a policy: no kids in R movies after 6pm. 6th This theater is not for a group outing, due to the large seats it will be hard to talk to anyone except the person directly next to you. 7th The food tray slides out over your lap, however some theater seem to have poor lighting for the food, some may even have the little food lights washing out some of the bottom of the screen. Make sure to report this to your server and the manager if you see this. Personally, I always cover my chairs light with the menu or my jacket. 8th If you dont order food, be prepared it is likely youll be smelling food from the person next to you and hearing their cutlery. 9th We once used the button to call the server, and had to wait over 19 minutes to get service. I once had a rewards program coupon for a free popcorn and didnt get it until 40 minutes through the movie, even though the coupon was given when we sat down 10 min before the show started. It was served salted and without butter topping... very dry. This was also the first time we saw the server after she checked our tickets. The seats are nice and big, so if youre a large person, this may be the location for you. If your a mother taking her kids to a show, such plush things like the seats may be wasted on kids who dont care. But, then perhaps youre a mom who needs a martini or bloody mary break while the kids watch a show. They have a full bar and wait staff if that interests you. Ive enjoyed the times Ive gone there. I have said these things so everyone can go enjoy themselves without getting certain disappointments. Lastly, I did send my comment about the menu limitations to AMC corp., their response was - so what should we put on it? I could tell them, but then why do they staff chefs, not the ones who cook the food, but corporate chefs who get big money to plan menus. Still, I will say here a lot could be done with some simple changes like grilled instead of fried, and vinaigrette or extra virgin olive oil instead of heavy cheese sauce. (It is worth noting they do offer a side salad instead of fries for a slight up charge.) But in the end, with all the restaurant options in the area now, I have no problem waiting till after the move to eat.

Horrible service!! Went there with 5 friends on a saturday night. needless to say the thearter was packed and every seat was sold except the very front. We sit down 5 min before the movie starts to find out my seat is broken, exreamly uncomfertable and wobbly. I hit my button to only be accomidated 1/2 hr into the movie. Food is served cold and had to be sent back, I ask for a manager to only deal with another idiot!! I explained the frozen food, broken seat, not very helpful staff, he only tells me sorry shrugged his shoulders and tells me i can move my seat. Why would i pay for a middle row seat and then be forced to sit the 2nd row away from the screen? never refunded me my seat, i would have walked up and left but didnt want to disturbe my 5 other friends, so i stuck it out!! classless, horrible manegment skills, and rude!! never going there again!! if you cant handle a packed thearter hire more stafff and better managers!!!

Ive been to this theater several times and just ate there for the first time. The people reviewing this place sound like my crabby dad may he RIP. I had potato skins and a soda, because I figured it would be safe. They were better than Ive had in many restaurants, and it was a large order. Our waiter was very nice: great service. The place was clean. It IS a movie theater with food service. You have to expect a little noise and lighting that suits eating AND watching a movie. I think it is set up very well. Ill definitely go back. Its best to order your seats online ahead of time because there are much fewer seats than a theater w/o food. They also serve free refills on soda. Im happy to have this option so close to home. Its fun!!!!

I especially like the food court and the Lego store, but what I really didnt like was the sales associate at the GNC store. I go to GNC frequently but it was my first time here. The sales associate, Brian, was a complete idiot and very rude. He didnt let me browse the store without "adult supervision"...Im a 22 year old male, who looks 30 with a beard. Also, he tried to get me to buy his newest hip hop album and spread the word of his musical fame. And he reeked! Probably never even touched a bar of soap before. Overall a horrible experience, Id never go back if he was still working there. Id give this mall 5 stars if it werent because of him.

This theater is amazing! The seats are huge and comfy and they serve drinks right in the theater! There are nice little armrest tables that come out in front of you to put your food/drink on. Only thing that would make it a 5 star would be to have recliners and also offer healthier, nutritarian food as most of it is the typical/standard american diet crap that kills everyone. Also would be nice if the movies had intermission so the wait staff could take your orders then, instead of interupt the movie. Once you go through the dine-in experience in nice chairs then it is hard to go back to the standard american theater.
