Melanie was extremely unprofessional. I had purchased flowers from her a few times and thought they were nice. When it came time for my baby shower, I called and made an appointment for a consultation. While on the phone with Melanie, I asked what the centerpieces started at she said $45, I told her we are on a budget and asked if we can change some of the flowers to work in my budget of $30-$35 per table. She said no prob. I went to the appointment with my mother and mother in law (who traveled an hour), Melanie greeted us and asked us when the wedding was, when I said it was a baby shower her entire face changed. She realized she was not going to make as much money. I told her what we spoke about in our conversation the week before. She proceeded to yell at me and tell me that she never said that. Again I explained to her as I did on the phone, I understand I would not get roses but If we can work with less expensive flowers. She proceeded to yell and say that she is the owner and would never say things like that. I told her that I had called the florist across the street (who I will use in the future they were extremely professional unlike Melanie) and they told me to lower costs to not use a vase but more of a board. I explained to Melanie I had used her before and liked her quality of flowers so I wanted to stick with her. She started to yell and told me to go across the street then. I was so surprised that a business woman would act this way. I had told her I was 6 1/2 months preg with twins and she was yelling at me. Unfortunately the location across the street was not available for a consultation, so we went to a very nice florist in Red Bank, There we were able to get the centerpieces that were bigger than what Melanie was offering with nicer flowers and a bigger vase. I live in Aberdeen and I will never use flowers by Melanie again. She was nasty and unprofessional

Very unsafe. There driver parks in the middle of the drive in the shopping center. Called to voice my opinion. Woman on the phone was very rude. Apparently having a cone in the middle of the road allows it to be ok. And the cops apparently allowed this for "18 years" I work in a floral industry and we dont park our cars in the middle of the road with a cone. Will be filing complaint with police department. The right thing to do would be my apologies and we will park our van to keep people safe.

Gina was beyond helpful and took the time to deliver a bouquet to my cousin, last minute, during there busiest day of the year- Valentines Day! Even when I gave Gina the wrong address and called a few hours later explaining the flowers might have been delivered to the wrong house, she immediately told me she would arrange a new fresh bouquet and deliver it herself to the correct house. The flowers were delivered on time and made my cousin very happy! Id definitely go back to Gina!

My folks live in Aberdeen and I order all my flowers for Mom through Melanies and she is always amazed at how wonderful the bouquet is. I highly recommend this place -- they truly take care in making the arrangements and my Mom is always thrilled. If there is ever a problem with what is available they always call me and provide great alternatives. This place is just plain great! I have been a customer for nearly 10 years now and will not go anywhere else!

I witnessed the owner verbally attacking a person whos toy dog happen to pee on a pot outside her florist shop. The person apologized and said she would clean it up. The owner proceeded to verbally attack the woman and then told her to "go f*** herself. I could not believe this language was coming from Melanie, the owner of Flowers By Melanie. I would never use this florist even if the flowers were free based on her unprofessional behavior and harrassment.

I had received last minute notice of a funeral, and wanted to send something. Amanda took my call shortly before closing for the day. She didnt rush me with my order and was very kind to let me know that the soonest that the purchase could be delivered was Monday. She helped me review what was available for such short notice and helped with the card. The professional attitude over all was a great relief under such stressful conditions.

I buy all of my flowers form Melanie. They are always extremely beautiful and last for an incredibly long time. She is the sweetest, kindest person and always goes out of her way to make my arrangements unforgettable. She is always very professional, and her knowledge and talent is unsurpassed by any other florist in the area. I can 110% recommend her for any floral arrangements for any occasion!!!

Honestly the worst flowers I have ever recieved. I ordered a boutineer and corsage for prom. They had such a small selection, and I paid over $60 for the combination. The flowers were incredibly small, and my date and I had the smallest set out of our entire prom group. STAY AWAY if you want nice flowers. Even Shop Rite down the road had nicer flowers at cheaper prices so go there.

I live in Florida and have used Flowers by Melanie on two seperate occasions. I have always found the service to be excellent and the flowers long lasting and beautifle. I dont ever hesitate to call this florist when it comes time to send flowers to family and friends. Use them, you wont be dissappointed.

I have never been treated so rudely on the phone, especially when trying to order sympathy flowers for a 15 year old boy. The lady was so unhelpful, impatient and when I mentioned she was being rude, she told me to call elsewhere. TERRIBLE business.
