I go to Market Basket because of the prices, but always check your food before you buy it. Ive purchased/seen in store items like pudding cups, and fresh noodles that had mold growing on them. It was enough to keeping me from shopping there for a whole year. But slowly I heard my friends talking about the great prices so I decided to give it another try. I like the meat selection (Great prices for Grass fed beef and more than one type of grass fed beef, I cant find that at non-speciality stores in the area.) and They also have a "peanut free" section in the bakery so I can buy special treats to take to my kids school parties. The employees are always kind and want to say hi to my kids if I bring them in. They have a public restroom in the back of the store. You have to walk through the store room to get there, but its available and I appreciate that. The decor reminds me a lot of the grocery stores I used to go to with my Mom when I was a kid, but that doesnt bother me. Id sacrifice a remodel for low prices any day!

With the latest news of Market Basket customers being held "hostage", I totally disagree. In the Seabrook area, we have Sams Club, Shaws, Hannafords and now the new Super Walmart. There is plenty of food and with the specials I can still save money. Czar Arthur S. is propogandizing the demise of a family. I thought the German people were stubborn! Well, Im not Russian to Putin my money into Market Basket until the situation is equitably resolved. Czar Arthur S. can take half the stores and run them the way he wants and Arthur T. can run his stores the way he wants. I love shopping at Market Basket. The employees are friendly and extremely helpful. I know the stores in Seabrook like the back on my hand. Until you and the Board can come to a resolution, I will not Putin my money into Market Basket. Thank you very much for reading this.

This market basket has gone down hill in the past year or two. The baggers are the worst Ive ever seen. They toss heavy objects on top of fruits and vegetables. The cashiers just toss bags of handpicked fruits and veggies down the belt to get tun over by other items, I generally have to reach in and save them. I used to bag and cashier at a grocery store and we were taught how to properly and respectfully bag groceries. I didnt spend all that time picking the produce I wanted for you to smash it. Ive gotten home and had broken yogurts before as well, what a mess. Take 10 minutes and teach your employees how to do their job correctly. The prices used to be low enough for me to deal with it but the continually increasing prices will force me and others I know to shop elsewhere.

Despite long lines, check-out is fast and efficient- much better than Shaws; and obviously prices are lower; but produce and seafood selections amongst other things are lousy compared to Shaws, etc... And this specific store I generally avoid- badly needs to be upgraded- far too small, aisles are way to narrow and corners of store in particular are very frustrating to try & navigate with a shopping cart; I only will go any longer if it is opening/closing times.

I moved up to the area from Northern Virginia where customer service in grocery stores is a thing of the past. Walking into our local Market Basket was a breath of fresh air. The customer service was amazing. Everyone that worked here seemed to go out of their way to want to help. The selection and prices are great and produce is very fresh and well organized. We are now a Market Basket family.

Always been a fan of MB this place although one of the older stores could use upgrades it still kills the competition locally price wise and has everything you need. Also compared to the local Hannaford and Shaws the produce here is much much better...sad really because its cheaper...and better...So its a win win! Lets just hope there are no more strikes coming now lmao

Been working here since October 2014, and its a great place too work for. All the employees are really nice too me and have great personalities, they take good care of me and make sure nothing happens too me. We also like too laugh and joke with each other when ever we are working, it makes your job more fun. Market Basket is a great place to work.

A smaller but adequate Market Basket. Clean and great prices. Their frozen food selection is not as broad as larger stores, but their fresh foods are good and their meat department is also. They get extra points for delicious sandwiches made to order, in a section by the bakery and deli counter!

One of the smaller Market Basket stores in the area, and probably one of the oldest setups. However the staff are very accommodating and the store is kept clean. Just dont expect to find some of the more obsecure options.

I wish the Stratham store was bigger, but the staff more than makes up for it. The deli, produce and checkout (especially John first year) are so friendly and helpful. Thank you!

They can upgrade this place. Isles are very tight and one of the smaller MB in the region. The selection can be off and surprised honestly considering the location.

No frills shopping experience. Prices cant be beat. Usually packed. Good for most items but better meat and produce found elsewhere. Needs a serious remodel.

This MB has been in his area since they were called Demoulas. It has ramped up the selection lately, has many housewares, and hidden gems!

The prices and friendly people make this the best place to shop for groceries. I like that they carry fresh, local produce when available.

Its on the smaller end of the market basket spectrum. Aisles are a little tight. Helpful and friendly staff.
