I have been shopping at the Hannafords in Dover New Hampshire for decades now. Having visited all the other shopping centers in the area I continually return here for my weekly shopping trips as I find them to be the best around. Consistently they have the best prices, best produce, good selection, very helpful staff... And I happen to like having the "natural" products all together in the same area! LOL Its very convenient. The one negative point on the store, at least it bothers me, is inventory. For example, they will have a product just long enough for you to get used to buying it and then they stop carrying it. They also have trouble keeping their usual items stocked. When this started happening a few years ago, I was told that it was because the store didnt do their own ordering any longer, the main office does the order. I wish they would go back to how they previously ordered their products because that was when they were at their best. Overall Hannafords on Central Avenue in Dover NH, has the most consistent good ratings of the shopping choices in this area. I see myself continuing to do our weekly grocery shopping at this store for a long time to come.

Grocery shopping isnt anyones favorite thing to do but I actually used to like coming to this Hannaford. I moved and stopped coming here over a year ago. Ran in recently to grab a few things and couldnt find anything. I waited 20 minutes to be helped at the deli counter. Not sure why cause there was 4 employees working that day but only 1 actually helping the customers. After the deli I only needed a couple things. Those couple things took another 30 minutes to find. I absolutely hate this store now. A task noone likes doing just turned into a nightmare at this store.

Not sure what the problem was with this employee.....but... REALLY. I understand there is chaos in the store due to the remodeling going on, but please understand YOUR customers frustrations. I asked where a product was as I had been up and down every isle, the worker did not look up from the self she was stalking at all, only pointed over her shoulder to state, its on the other side. ???? other side???? which isle? I asked another employee who told me isle 2, and the product was no where to be seen. I left. I will not return to that store at all. At all. ever.

I happen to be agoraphobic, and I have a hard time shopping anyway. Im not a fan of people stocking shelves first thing in the morning--something that should be done overnight. Also, I think the store can do away with bumper-to-bumper traffic in the checkout lines. People do not need to be that close to each other, and THAT makes me very uncomfortable. I keep my cart behind me so the person behind me cant crowd me in, so stop telling me to move my cart to the front.

Terrible experience, I will never shop here again. Management was very unprofessional making my family and I feel embarrassed and judged. Truly unfortunate experience - I hope this store can tighten up with professionalism and better educate employees on proper customer service and protocol so that this does not happen to anyone else. I left this store feeling very unsatisfied and offended. Never okay.

The new renovations and the reorganized store are ridiculously confusing and complicated. I asked 2 employees to help me find what I needed and they both were dismissive, rude, unhelpful, and uncaring. They used to have an amazing organic health food section that completely disappeared with the renovations. I will be shopping at Market Basket from now on.

Great place... although since the remodeling I cant find anything! Its going to take some much getting use to, that is for sure! If you plan to visit this Hannaford in June/July 2017, expect to find a newly remodeled floor with a lots of new & different items along with their common favorites from before!

Gallon of water went from 65 cents too 95 cents... They shut down lottery vending machine at like 9pm or sooner, I saw a lady picking the best strawberries out of each container to make her best package. I guess thats why Ill go to Shaws from now on... 2/16/17

Some of the Hannafords have online preordering. Its an excellent service. I dislike grocery shopping in general but I am always happy​ to pick up. Also I would argue that ordering ahead of time cuts down on impulse purchasing and is therefore more economical.

Great shopping center -- didnt go into the main store, but went into the all natural pharmacy and food store which were both wonderful. Got itch spray and then a cup of coffee and a best cheddar biscut on EARTH!

I used to shop there because I could find everything! Haha what a joke. Its a nightmare in there and the new layout makes absolutely 0 sense. Back to shopping at Wal Mart. Hannafords lost a 20+ year customer.

Love this Hannaford...produce, bakery, deli, customer service and employees are awesome. Some of the baggers & a manager could use bagging training. Also, Im just a weekly customer with no ties to the store.

Always have fresh produce, great meat selection, and seem to never be out of stock of what I want. They do tend to have backed up checkout lanes constantly, but they move relatively fast.
