I walked in to get some pizza. First off there was a pizza they were serving that had burnt cheese and the crust was almost completely burnt BLACK. I thought that was pretty bizarre. It belongs in the trash. So I ask her, "can you heat these two pieces up and hand them through the window?" She says yep. Five minutes later I ask the bartender whats up. He says I might have to ring it in first. So I wait another five minutes. Then I get two smaller pieces, not the ones I asked for, and they were slightly warm, like luke warm water. So I asked him if she can heat them up again. Another five go by and here is my pizza again....still luke warm! So I took it back to the girl and said, "I guess after being asked three times to heat up the pizza you cant handle that so here you go." I then left. That was insane. They burn a pizza completely black, but then they cannot properly heat up a couple slices. Common sense is getting less and less common. Check out the fresh juices. One variety was only about $80 per gallon. This store is so overrated. People dont realize that yeast extract, soy protein isolate, and natural flavors to name a few are all the same as MSG. I think shopping here is a status thing, a lot like having a coach purse or driving a mercedes, being that you really dont get what you pay for. The end result is the same. Their hot food is basically the same price you would pay in a restaurant. You can easily spend 15-20 bucks on just a salad and a small meal. One time they had 3 kinds of pasta and two kinds of rice, for $8.99 a pound???? Wow. Ill stick to market basket. They do have some good cheap wine though - its only 3.49 or so a bottle and its great.

It is true that some things in here are overpriced, but it is the price of admission to eat very healthy and eliminate the temptation of eating foods high in chemicals the other grocery stores will want you to buy on the way to actually locating the few things that may be cheaper at their store and the same quality. They have great service here too. Though, I am a good fan of the store brand, 365. A good amount of Whole Foods store brand is either competitively priced for being a similar product vs what you get at other stores or is of better quality and has a plausible price premium. I am a big fan of the pizza counter - 4 slices of pizza here on their multigrain dough (I love their veggie pizza) fills you up a lot more than 4 slices at other pizza places I have been at. It may be $1 or so more but is well worth it for the quality. Though, this gets 4 stars out of 5 b/c Trader Joes overall carries a similar curated selection of higher quality food at much lower prices, albeit Whole Foods still beats TJs out on selection.

Popular grocery chain known for their emphasis on organic and natural products, with the added bonus of a bar in the store! Prices are a little higher than other local supermarkets, especially if you usually go to Market Basket, but the produce and meat quality/selection at Whole Foods is a noticeable step up from their competition. Its hard to beat their selection of cheese, beer and wine as well. On the other hand, because of their natural emphasis, finding some of your other normal items on your shopping list, such as your favorite personal care items and cereals, night not be possible. Overall though, if you dont mind paying a little extra for higher quality groceries, or if you perhaps lean organic/sustainable when it comes your groceries, or if you just want to grab a couple items but also want a nice local brew at the same time, Whole Foods is highly recommended.

Whole foods is better than walmart or shaws. But as good as the local market basket too. It seems that they both have the same quality, but with whole foods at a higher price and with market basket at a larger variety. Their store isnt very clean looking and their staff never seem to know what your talking about despite them being older than the average grocery store worker. (Meaning they should have had more exposure to different things and experience, no?) I was new to the area and at one point I shopped here a lot until I got to know the area and checked out market basket down the road. I like market basket better because they have variety, same quality and I can push my buck much further. Whole foods would run my bank to the gravel because of their unreasonably high prices ..

This store reminds me of the Los Angeles store on 3rd st. While Im tempted to share my dissatisfaction of the franchise in general over the years, including regularly increasing prices, I will stick to this location in general. We only shop there for a few items that are not available at other stores. When we have gone there, each time, the employees have no idea what we are talking about, and we have to hunt around until we find what we need. The store is overcrowded, overpriced, and the parking is very inconvenient. If you want to know what its like to live in a crowded area of Los Angeles, this is a good opportunity to see what its like during a slow time. Update, after a second visit during summer of 2017, I have to agree with my previous review, the store is still terrible.

Despite the common notion of calling Wholefoods Wholepaycheck I find that the only real expensive items are those that are pre-made. If you are one to do your own cooking rather than buying something to heat up in the microwave than Wholefoods is a wonderful place to shop. I find that while some produce is slightly more expensive than say Market Basket the quality is astronomically better. Their egg and dairy selection are also far superior, I have not once found a cracked egg in a carton and find the milk products to be much fresher. I normally dont purchase from the prepared foods dept but the pizza there is excellent and decently priced, if only they delivered! One more plus, they have a bar! yay!

They buy same fish as market basket, comes off same truck and charge 3 times the amount. Do not eat anything from prepared foods. They recycle their food. If it isnt sold on the shelf (ex. soup), they put out in the hot food, and then again transfer back to the shelves and date it again. All prepared food is moved around. They dont throw anything, or should I say very little goes in trash. It is disgusting. One star is too good for this store. Food in case is used day after day until sold. I am referring to another whole foods, but I assume management is run the same at all whole food stores. As far as Im concerned cant believe board of health hasnt shut them down

This is the worst Whole Foods store I have been to out of all. I shop Whole Foods regularly for select products that can not be found at other supermarkets and was really happy when I found out that there would be a new store opening in Nashua. When I went to the new store in Nashua I was disappointed to find that it was probably the smallest Whole Foods store I have seen in any of the states I have traveled to, and several of my key items were not sold here. These are items that I have found at every other Whole Foods I have shopped at (in MA, NY, OK, AR). So it looks like I will still have to travel into MA to go to the other larger Whole Foods stores.
