I have never been treated so rudely, especially from a deli clerk! I was at the Lee, NH Market Basket at 1:00pm today (2/28/12). After witnessing how rude this clerk was to the woman in front of me, I said to the woman behind me, "she must be having a bad day." The woman replied, "shes always like this." She "snapped" at me when I ordered a lb. of the turkey that was on sale saying, "we have 4 kinds of turkey on sale today. Now which one do you want?" I didnt know there were 4 kinds on sale. When I asked what the 4 kinds were you would think I was asking her to cut her right arm off. Are you kidding me? The price of food is high enough with everyone struggling to make ends meet. Do we also have to be subjected to verbal abuse when purchasing it? I will *never* go to the Lee, NH Market Basket again and will tell my entire family and wide circle of friends that unless they want to be subjected to rudeness and verbal abuse, go somewhere else! That woman deserves to be fired since shes apparently "always that way."

I have gone to lee several times for grocery/ coupon shopping and for the most part had helpful and kind associates, The meat department and seafood, were both helpful and understanding when making special requests So I went to Lee, NH market basket today, got about $100 worth of groceries and proceeded to the check out, I had many coupons (beer coupons) that I have used everytime that I have gone there, they have accepted them everytime, I even had one of the red coat store managers check them over a previous time and they approved everything, That is why I had continued to go there. Today however, I had a nasty front end (blue coat associate) deny every coupon without even looking at them. She made a scene and REFUSED to let me ask the manager about it, I put everything back!! They made me uncomfortable and I will never be going back there... Couponers beware, unfriendly and unhelpful upfront associates! I went to shaws and Dover and they accepted everything with a smile, will shop there from now on!

My husband is in the Air Force - we went in one evening and after ringing out we were asked if we could go back through the line. I was a little confused at first but complied. To my surprise, the cashier, Marianne, handed us a gift card and thanked my husband and I for his service. I was in tears - absolutely speechless. We have never come across such genuine sincerity and we dont even typically shop at this location. Ill tell you what though - we will be back. Still speechless. You dont come across this kind of stuff every day and we appreciated it beyond words. Thank you again.

My main concern with this Market Basket is that the keep my favorite product, Whoopie Pies, right up against a hot stand that holds cooked food. Note that these Whoopie Pies contain dairy, and this hot stand dries them out and makes them pretty nasty later in the day. I have to get in here relatively early to get them before, in my opinion, they become spoiled. Its a bit of a challenge. Other Market Basket locations are smart enough to not do this.

Market Basket - gotta love these guys. Lowest prices on non perishables by a long shot and run by a dude who respects and rewards his employees. Minus one star just because sometimes staple produce items are completely sold out. Like cucumbers, or lettuce. Baffling. But cant beat the deals on everything else! Saves me a lot of $$$$ without dumb rewards programs.

Its Market Basket, whats not to love? Cheapest prices around, and the staff here is especially helpful and nice. Its not the fanciest new Market Basket, but its a solid store and only sometimes crowded (other Market Baskets are a lot more crowded in my experience). I also like that Market Basket in general employs people with disabilities.

Clean and plenty of parking. Staff was friendly even though it was very busy. Plenty of price deals with low prices and I mean low prices here with out a doubt. We have a Market basket up north and they do not have prices that low. Checkout was fast and employees seemed to want to be there which made it that much more enjoyable to visit.

I have only been there a handful of times, since my wife does most of the shopping. But each time I have been there, I have been impressed. It is by far, our favorite grocery store in the area. They are clean, well stocked, friendly, helpful, and the prices are the best compared to the other grocery stores in the area.

worst marketbasket rotten fruit.. long lines.. never have all check out lanes open... managers stand around when their are no cart and talk all day.. bad beer selection unless your from the south bud wiser trash.. the manager is the one in the front that just stands around talking.. instead of helping his workers

Love Market Basket, long time customer. A bit disappointed that this particular location is either phasing out certain GF frozen products (english muffins, pita breads, rolls) or they run out of inventory too quickly. Other MB locations are carrying that stock, but just causes me to drive to get them.

Its fine. I much prefer the store in Epping, for its size and selection, and for some reason the place feels darker. Probably because the front end is very old and clearly needs upgrading. That said, the hot bar was full stocked on a Friday night which was great.

Wow. Must be a really bad place to work because everyone was rude and grumpy. Only saw one employee smiling and the others glaring at her .. for being happy? Very bad customer service. Will not go back.

Convenient place to pickup groceries at a good price. Parking is good and there are a number of other useful stores in the plaza. A number of UNH staff and students shop here.

The lines were ridiculous and not enough cashiers and they dont carry any crock pot freezer meals NONE. I work a lot of hours during the week I always use my crock pot
