Backmann was our wedding florist and we had an outstanding experience. The husband/wife owners were extremely friendly and helpful and spent several hours with us discussing pricing and options. They offer (or did at the time of our wedding in late 07) a free "tossing" bouquet with wedding flower purchases. We werent doing a bouquet toss so we displayed the bouquet in a vase on our guestbook table, and Im sure they beefed it up from the typical "tossing bouquet" as it was enormous! When we had to change the date of our wedding due to unforeseen circumstances, the Backmann folks gave us a full refund on our deposit. Once we had the new date we re-booked their services and were extremely happy with our flowers; several of our guests also commented on how fantastic they were. The price for our arrangements/bouquets was much lower than our research had led us to expect.The owners were also very accommodating to my frequent modifications to our order! We were pleasantly surprised to receive a free rose bouquet on our first anniversary.

My fiancé and I are writing to tell you all how disgusted we were with Beckmann Florists customer service. In the summer of 2014 we called to make an appt. to discuss wedding flowers, they stated that they had their daughters wedding and did not have time to discuss our upcoming wedding that far in advance. Recently, I had my fiancé call and make an appt with them. However, they said they could not make an appt at that time & would need to give us a call back the following day, in which that phone call never came. We called two days later & my fiancé spoke with Tom. Tom took down all of our information and told us to come in after work on 2/17/15. We drove 1.5 hours to arrive at their store to see that it was closed. No courtesy call was received to let us know that they could not longer attend the meeting or that their store was closing before its normal hours. As if wedding planning is not stressful enough there are vendors like these two out there who lead you on! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

Yesterday while filling my greeting card display at Backmann Florist, in Derry N.H. a gentleman was picking out the most gorgeous flowers for his wifes flower bouquet. The handpicked arrangement was exquisite and even better that he took the time to make it perfect for his lucky wife by picking out each individual flower for the floral designer to arrange :) It was BEAUTIFUL!!! You both did an amazing job!!! Backmann had BEAUTIFUL FRESH FLOWERS everywhere I looked and the arrangement was perfect !! This is a perfect example of putting the customer first!! AWESOME JOB Backmann Florist!

This flower shop is the best in the area. They have large assortment of fresh flowers. I have used them regularly for the past 10 years and find the owners Mary and Tom are always here and provide super service. They dont miss a beat and stand behind their work. I like that they are local, creative, give back to the community and even deliver in their own van.

I received a half dozen of long stem red roses for Valentines day 5 days ago and my roses had rips and some of the babys breath were brown not white. Also there was rips and black spots on the petals and now theyre all droopy. I would think spending good money on flowers would mean great quality as well.

Pulled a bait a switch on a bouquet I ordered over the phone. They refused to correct the mistake. Cursed at me when I politely told them I would post a review because of their dishonesty and unwillingness to correct the mistake. Terrible experience.

Ordered some flowers for my girlfriend to be delivered to her at work. She left early, so she went to pick up the flowers herself. The delivery fee was never reimburse to me. Hope the $8.00 was worth my future orders.
