I went to the Concord store over Labor Day weekend. Two clerks were working - one on one side of the register area and the other on the other side. The line was very long to cut fabric and make purchase (approx. 9-10 customers in a line that forked off into 2 separate lines). The cashier/cutter on one side REFUSED to wait on any customers!! Pointing to the other cashier/cutter, she told people "fabric cutting is only being done over there." She was poker faced and RUDE. I had about $50 worth of goods in my hands and I plopped them down and walked out of the store. Jo-Ann Fabric is the only big fabric retailer in Concord, NH and I say they need some competition!! Terrible Terrible service!

I really dont understand how some reviewers can see the store so badly - the store only has so many employees and each one is trained in different tasks. Also, there have been price-check devices in the store for years so that you can check the price of any item. The cutting counter tends to get hit with rushes - but they are usually good about calling someone else in the store over to assist - anyone who shops at a fabric store should be well-aware that just because someone is behind the cutting counter and not helping customers doesnt mean they arent doing a task - such as sorting through those bolts you leave behind at the counter so that they can be put back on the shelves.

Im disappointed to discover that so much of the store is now devoted to crafts. Concord already has a Michaels, which does art and craft supplies better, but there is no other fabric store in the area. Most of the fabric stores in the state are devoted to quilting, so for those of us wanting to find good fabric for making clothes, at reasonable prices, Jo-Ann used to be the place but does not appear to be anymore.

The Concord JoAnns is such a fantastic place to shop. The fabric department is always neat and organized. The entire store is bright and cheerful! The staff there is always so helpful! They are always willing to go the extra mile for their customers! I would recommend a trip to this store!

Horrible service, not very friendly staff. I asked for the price on an item and nobody was willing to look it up until I bought it. If you call them dont expect them to be of any help. "Do you have xxx item in stock"..."you have to come in and look",

I tried to buy a specific lace trim twice already and both times that said the store had it in stock but they couldnt find it. They are nice at the cutting table and have a better selection than the Jo-Ann store in Hooksett.

The store is frankly a mess and the staff is less than helpful but still has some good finds. Really upsetting that the experience is so bad though; not likely to return

A local shop happy to be open on Sunday. We must pay more attention to our local businesses. I could have easily gone to Walmart. Thank you for being there for me.
