Not good at all. We came in on a Sunday around 11am, there were four of us. They were 75% full. Took our waiter a few minutes to come by introduce himself and pour us some water. Second time he came back we ordered our coffee and our food. 10 minutes later we waved him down and inquired about the coffee, he said it will be just another minute and they are very busy. Few minutes later we got our coffee. Five minutes later he came back to tell one of us that they were out of potatoes and would she like fries instead. She opted out of either and he went to leave. We called him back "You realize two of us have Hashs right? Apparently he did not remember and said he would go see what the solution could be for that.... Ok? He came back 5 minutes later and said they were still out of potatoes but could do french fries or change our order. One of us opted to change their order, he almost a left again without asking me about my hash. I chose fries. 10 minutes later we had our food, mine was wrong and so was someone else. I chose to say nothing she asked for her missing items. Honestly the food was okay, the coffee was great but the service horrible. We asked for our check and set a time interested in how long this would take, 11 minutes later we had the check and my friend was charged for the side of potatoes she couldnt even have as they were out of potatoes! Yes, the place is cute and hipster but the service was terrible with zero acknowledgement or apology. Food displayed creatively but underwhelming in flavor. Would not go back.

You dont really find spots in Vegas that have a full craft-coffee menu -complete with lavender lattes, and food that makes me want to scrape my plate because its so delicious !! After being a Vegas local for 5 yrs and trying every coffee spot in the city, I think Makers & Finders has the best cold brew and most unique/delicious menu options. And I am pretty snobby about my coffee and food honestly... While still carrying traditional cafe dishes, they also have Latin-inspired dishes that are so good youll crave it. I am so so weary of the typical Cob Salad and Chicken Caesar Wrap that most cafes almost ALWAYS have on their menu, and the sad watered down or burnt coffee they sell on top of that. Makers always has something new to try and of course, superior coffee. The small coffee shop and full food service is definitely a sparse concept here in Vegas. So if you live in Vegas or just vacationing, you should definitely visit. Try their Lomo Saltado, Bandeja Paisa for lunch/dinner -or the Arepa Benny for breakfast. Those are always really delicious. On their coffee side, the cold brew, any of their lattes - I honestly prefer cappuccinos myself :) Also-- so happy that they are now open later! I work on the other side of town until 5pm, so these hours work much better for me.

Main Street is under construction, but when I visit First Friday, I always see this new restaurant in the Las Vegas Art District named Makers and Finders Coffee. This morning, I had a meeting with a local Artists that I met at Robins Skin City Body Painting. Arriving early from the north near City Hall, I asked for the best signature dish in the restaurant. The place was packed at breakfast. Brunch, even more people came in, especially athletes from the health clubs around Main Street. Recently written about in the east coast newspaper, Washington Post, Justin Lepper had just finished working on a painting all night long. I felt bad. He only drank coffee. No sleep. No rest. I asked for the signature dish that defines the restaurant. The eggs with beef were outstanding. Everybody was really friendly. The servers didnt act like staff. Really they acted as if they were having a little party and you were invited to walk in and join them. Very comfortable, nice, kept checking on us. I really want to return for the salmon lox breakfast. Maybe next week.

Makers and Finders is located in downtown Las Vegas. The venue itself is very modern/Low key, some would even say that is located in the shady part of town; however, the food here it is quite amazing. Parking is quite hard to find in this part of town however once you do find a space and come into the restaurant you will be blown away. This is absolutely a good place to go brunching with your family or after a night at the tables or club. The staff was very friendly, however they werent as attentive as we wish there were. We had the pull pork egg Benedict was perfection, which also came with a side of plantain. I also had the pull pork sandwich which was delicious as well. This place definitely has a South America influence on their food and if you like this type of food, you will love this place.

I wanted to try this place out with some of my co-workers. When I showed up, there was a little bit of a wait because every single seat in the house was taken. After about 10 minutes we were seated. I decided to go with the La Paisa. A very interesting combination of carne desmechada (shredded beef), sweet plantains, avocado and a fried egg on top. Unique and very delicious. I had some room for dessert, so I tried the Elvis Press. A buttery croissant filled with (you guessed it) peanut butter, banana, bacon. . . and Nutella. Sinfully good. Then I washed it down with a very very good cup of Cuban espresso. I am very impressed with the food and coffee here. Im going to have to add this place to my regular downtown restaurant rotation.

I had no idea what to order and knew absolutely nothing about Latin food. I wasnt sure Id like anything on the menu and when I ordered, I felt nervous that I was not going to like the food. I have left only 3 reviews before and I hope this review helps people make decisions. I ate the Paisa and it was so full of flavor! Absolutely delicious with a touch of sweet from the fruit and a touch of salt from the bacon! We also had the Arepa Benny or something like that. It as well had such a brilliant bold mix of flavors. Just fantastic! the staff was friendly and eager to have you enjoy your experience. Highly recommend you try it!

Makers & Finders was definitely my favorite restaurant I ate at while in Vegas. Great food and totally a hipster joint. The quality of food was so fresh and they were right on point with presentation. You could tell they really paid attention to detail with the dishes they were serving. Also ordered a hot coffee to go. Wasnt as impressed with the coffee as I was with the food. But maybe the flavor latte I picked was a miss. Would love to go back next time Im in Vegas. If youre looking for a good joint dont pass them up.
