First, I was visiting from Los Angeles and needed emergency accessories for my older Dell Laptop (new battery & new power adapter) which they had IN STOCK for good prices (cheaper than Frys which didnt even have them available in-store)! Second, when I got my laptop back to my hotel room, there were booting issues and I realized that my hard drive was starting to die. I no longer needed my just-purchased new battery, so I returned it, which they happily refunded. Most importantly, ALL of the technicians/customer service guys are super-helpful, super-patient, and super-nice! Jason (he has a beard) was the first one to help me: friendly and knowledgeable. David (looks like hed be in an action movie) was super-patient and nice! So patient in fact that I watched him help a deaf couple by communicating via pen & pad of paper! Wow! Skyler (blond hair and glasses) also helped me verify if my dying hard drive was on its last legs.. which it was as he ran it to the workroom and tested it on Mac and PC while I waited. He is super-smart and nice, too. Theres also Nate (who looks a lot like Skyler: blond hair, glasses). He was also very helpful. There are some negative reviews here but check the dates. Id heard that there was a change in ownership a year ago. Since then things must have changed because I only had an AMAZING experience and top-notch service! As for who will be the best, since I interacted with FOUR guys there (Jason, David, Skyler, Nate) then you cant go wrong with any of them or whoever works at this store either! Seriously!

BUYERS BE BEWARE:DONT EVER BUY A REFURBISHED LAPTOP FROM LAPTOP EXCHANGE IF YOU NEED IT TO LAST MORE THAN 120 DAYS!!!! I bought a laptop from laptop exchange that lasted exactly 90 days. I took it back to them-which they encourage you to do & since they couldnt fix it. they replaced it. What they dont say is if they cant fix it & you want the data it would be an additional 40$ to retrieve the data from the hard drive. The laptop they replaced it with needed a new battery-which was an additional 40$.which i bought along with another laptop.100 days later the 2nd laptop crashed. I again took it back to laptop exchange. this time with the request that they dont even try to fix it simply retrieve the data off of it.they told me the hard drive was too badly damaged to retrieve the data & gave me the number to a data retrieval service who wanted between 300-800$ just to retrieve 1 file.which i cant afford so that data is lost.the 3rd laptop which also needed a new battery & i bought when i bought the battery for the 2nd laptop crashed 5 days ago & at this point Im beyond fed up.What point would it serve to take it back to them so i can be charged an additional fee. This has been 1 expensive life lesson which no one will Ever have to teach me again!!! I WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER OFF GOING TO A PAWN SHOP!!! Sincerely AMT

I brought my laptop to get repaired; obviously I dont know what was wrong with it! It was running fine and then one day it just wouldnt turn on. When I brought it there I noticed my laptop (same model - look like same age) was $199; therefore, I pretty much knew in my mind, Id be willing to spend up to $150 for repairs. They called and said they diagnosed the problem - the motherboard. It was going to cost $160. I agreed. When I picked it up; I brought it straight home and windows wouldnt load. It wasnt working needless to say. I called the next morning; then I brought it back the following week on my day off. The receipt stated returns in 14 days would be offered 100% store credit OR 84% refund. I just wanted it fixed. THEY REFUSED! There is no warranty on service?? Really?? So, let me get this straight; Im out $160 - still have no computer. Had I NOT picked it up, I would have been only $40 shy (from what I already saved for the repairs) to purchase a new one. And, to add insult to injury, the "customer service" rep was rude and offered NO consideration. Should have listed to Bob (previous posting)!!

Absolutely terrible. I called this company twice to make sure they had a power cable for a Samsung Chromebook. The responded that they were "pretty sure" they had one in stock. Im in town for business and told them that I would have to take a costly cab ride over to their location, so i requested that they make sure they actually had the power cable in stock instead of "pretty sure." They put me on hold for a minute or so and came back on the line and said, "Yes. We have two or three in stock." I was thrilled that they had what I needed. However, when I got to the store they took a look at the computer and quickly declared that they didnt have a power cable for this computer. They wasted my time, my cab fare, and they were irresponsible in giving out info about stock. Terrible company. Terrible waste of time. If youre in Vegas, go somewhere else.

They do what they say theyll do, fixing the laptops and whatnot. Their customer service however is terrible. The store manager (who is NEVER in and I mean NEVER, not to mention the associates "dont know when hell be in next") is the only one who can make final decisions on things like sellbacks, therefore you have to wait a month and a half calling randomly just to find him. Plus they say repairs take 2-3 days, but on day eight when you call and they say "when its done, its done. Well call you" dont be surprised. The associates care about nothing but their commission, and its apparent in the way they try to upsell EVERYTHING. I bought a laptop from their shelf and it died nine months later. The store just needs to burn down, its that simple.

I brought my laptop in to have a new motherboard installed. Somehow while installing it they broke my laptops mouse buttons which had nothing to do with the motherboard. I dont mean the buttons werent being recognized, I mean they broke the physical clicking mechanisms. Then when I went to pick it up they claimed they couldnt "get it booted" even though it has booted 100s of times flawlessly since I got it back, which was obviously an excuse to pretend they didnt realize what they had done. Anyway I noticed it right in the store that the buttons no longer clicked but the jerks refused to take any responsibility for it and sent me on my way. NEVER AGAIN!

I went to this place to get a laptop keyboard for a Toshiba computer. before going into the location I called the store and told them what I needed and asked if they could get the item for me. Sure was their response, it would be $14. When I got to the store they took my order and then handed me a bill for $100. I said the part was $14. They then tell me well that is the charge to install the part. Once I told them I didnt need a part installed just the part they then didnt want to order the part for me. This is one of those typical places that rip you off on labor cost. Service people are extremely rude.

The customer service is great when buying a computer or recieving service, when I was on the computer market I decided to go with laptop e! I change because of how comfortable they made feel. The prices are great on top of the great customer service and their tech Jeremy at the henderson location even called me about a product that I was waiting for a month after our first interaction, I definitely recommend Lap Top Exchange!!!
