BEWARE! Do NOT buy from this company. I placed an order from this company for a pc processor over the weekend online. Since it is now Tuesday, and I had not received an email with my shipping information, I logged into their website to see what is going on with my order to find that is has been cancelled. I then logged into my bank account to see whether or not the money was taken from my account or not, and found that YES they did take my money. So.. I then called them to figure out what is going on as nobody contacted me to tell me anything about my order being cancelled or anything. The woman who I got on the phone was very rude. She would not let me finish a sentence, and just gave me a really bad attitude when all I was trying to do was figure out what is going on. She told me my order was cancelled, and said it was due to security reasons. I still have no idea what the security problem is, because the lady would not give me any information at all about what the problem is. All she would tell me is... "there is a security issue, and your order was canceled, and that I needed to call my bank". Then when I tried to explain to her that they have already taken my money, so I would either like my processor or I would like a refund, she argued with me, gave me an attitude, and told me they didnt have my money. Even though I was looking right at my bank account while talking to her. After a couple minutes of me insisting they had my money she put me on hold, and while I was on hold, I received an email from them that I was being issued a refund. Once she came back on the phone, she continued giving me an attitude, and saying that they didnt receive my money, and still refused to give me a good reason why my order was cancelled. I explained to her that I just received her email that they were refunding my money, so obviously whatever this security issue she is talking about was not from my bank because the money was taken out of my bank, and now is being refunded. She still insisted that they didnt have my money, and would not explain what this so called security issue was. I dont know. This is the dumbest thing I have EVER dealt with when buying something. I have never had any kind of problem like this, and I make almost all my purchases online as we live in the country, and its a long drive to go into town. I still have no idea why my order was cancelled or anything, and now, I am sitting here with my money tied up, waiting for it to be refunded to my account & I have to order my part somewhere else. If I had ordered somewhere else in the beginning my part would probably be here any day now. This is just plain ridiculous. I dont know if they were selling the part too cheap, and realized it "as it was cheaper here than anywhere else I found online" or if they are just some sort of scammers. I dont know..... but either way.. BEWARE of buying from this company! Something is very fishy with this company, and now I regret that they even have my information because I dont even trust them with it.

I chose to use this vendor to save about $30 on 3 parts when building my new computer. I placed my order on Jan 12th. On Jan. 19th I contacted the vendor customer service by phone and no one answered and their mailbox was too full to leave a message. I emailed them stating that I never received an email with shipping information and an hour later had my shipping tracking code, but the FedEx website had no information to speak of except that my order would require a signature. Despite my insistence that they notify FedEx that I authorize them to just leave the package at the door they informed me that I would need to drive to the nearest pickup facility to retrieve my package. The next morning I checked the tracking information again and it had updated to reflect that FedEx had picked up my package in Nevada on Jan. 19th. This means that my purchase did not leave the vendor for a full week after my order was placed and I can only conclude that the only reason they even shipped it was that my email to customer service reminded them that I had placed an order in the first place. I will never again make the mistake of using anyone outside of Newegg or Amazon. Would definitely not use this vendor again. Update: After the disaster that was my first go round with them, they offered to refund my shipping cost. $7 really goes a long way to make me think better of a company, especially when I made a $550 purchase. Further, my heat sink had a defective motherboard bolt. It went on straight but just turned and turned, never getting tight. I RMAd the heat sink and that process was fairly smooth, although I had to pay to send them their defective product. Newegg would have issued a shipping label for a defective return. Once the heat sink arrived back to them, I feel like they said (without actually saying) that it was my fault. As though I can control a nut that goes on straight and turns forever. Thats a defective thread, but thanks for blaming me. This company is an absolute joke from start to finish. Id never heard of this company before using them and I will forget this company exists.

I elected the fastest service costing $99 to have my computer cleaned from infected viruses and malware. Was informed by technician at Outletpc that some of my computers software had to be removed in order to do repair. When turned on at home my computer looked nothing like what I turned in. I called the store asking for assistance to at least get onto internet and was told to bring it in again for more service. Instead I contacted Centurylink and they told me what to enter to get access to internet and found that when on internet I was getting even more garbage and warning messages of virus in my system. I contracted with the Centurylink "PC Protection Service" and after 2 days working on line and on the phone with me, my computer is free of virus and malware attach. What service Outletpc performed did not fix the problem and they did not want to further discuss it. I paid $99 for nothing and Im sure there will be no offer to refund what I paid them. I recommend that customers should stay away from this business. The repair was not done but mostly the customer service (not even willing to speak to me) has much to be desired. DO NOT USE OUTLETPC FOR COMPUTER SERVICE. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Less than an hour after the above post, I received a phone call from Outlet PC manager. We discusses the issues with my computer repair. He stated that there had been some store issues with interaction with customers but he felt that he had now resolved them. In light of the management taking the time to talk to me, I feel now that what I experienced was the exception and not the policy of the company. Because I have had such very positive feelings for this business in previous service and purchases, I will definitely return to them for my PC concerns. I take back the statement to not use this company. By the manager personally addressing this issue, I do feel that customer service is of the utmost importance to them.
