My 2013 Samsung laptop, like many older machines, was starting to have keys coming loose. After watching videos on how to replace keys and keyboards, I decided to find a professional to do it - too hard! After researching a replacement keyboard, I took my laptop and the eBay ad for the keyboard to TLC Computer Solutions. John and his team refused to replace the keyboard and wouldnt order the part I showed them. Turns out, they were right. After further research, it came to light that for my model laptop, the entire top part (called a "palmrest") has to be replaced, not just the keyboard. Their years of experience combined with genuine care for a customer came together on this. They order a palmrest; the same day it arrived, they had me bring the laptop in and they replaced it same-day. My old laptop looks and feels like a brand-new machine now! In conclusion, if youre reading this review, its probably because youre computer is broken and youre trying to find a good place to get it fixed. Heres what to do: stop reading reviews and call TLC Computer Solutions. Now. Just do it.

TLC Computer Solutions has been the company of choice for me for over four years for repair and maintenance of my computers - my desktop and my laptops. Last year my desktop was attacked and all of my files were infected. The attacker requested that I pay an enormous sum of money to solve the problem. I contacted TLC and they said "bring it in right away" and well fix it. TLC restored all of my files and my computer was working perfectly the next day! Do not EVER take your phone here for repair. First, TLC charged us nearly twice what another company down the street to replace the crystal on a phone. Then TLC kept the phone for 5 days demonstrating an utter lack of concern for the importance of a phone. Then, the extremely expensive crystal cracked again, but we didnt take it back to TLC because we didnt want to have the phone held for that long again and for the same exorbitant cost. When we took the phone to the shop down the street that had successfully, and at a reasonable price, repaired 3 other phones, we discovered that TLC had altered the installation of the camera, and that it was causing the phone to overheat. The shop down the street agreed, because it is reasonably priced, and concerned about customer service, to fix TLC"s botched work for free. Bad shop, bad customer service, bad experience.

Okay i brought a phone in, the camera didnt work. The manufacture said it need the correct firmware. I ask the guy if they did that. He reply yes, i clerified the origanal firm he said yeah we do that. I came back the next day and turns out they claim it needs a new camer of 90 bucks for just the item so i imagine the bill would have been around 150-200 and since they lied about it i imagine i would have still had a non working camera and had to pay for them to give it back. They didnt ever call to let me know the people were nice but damn if they are not going to listen i am suppised they are still around.

I cant say enough about John and his staff. We needed a desktop PC/windows computer package ASAP for a new software that was not MAC supported. John asked questions to understand what our needs were and then built us a package that would not only meet our requirements, but not break our budget. My PC computer would only startup by hitting the on button several times, then it stopped altogether. Then trying to troubleshoot it myself, I broke the on button and transposed some wires. As a last ditch effort I tried TLC Computer Solutions, and in one day, the young fellow not only diagnosed the problem but fixed the broken switch and cleaned up the computer. That was over six months ago and it is still working fine. They are my go-to people for computer repairs now. Also, reasonable pricing.

John was very helpful and great in helping out with my laptop. He was able to determine the cause of the problem. I initially brought my laptop to Geek Squad and I was to solutions: 1) i can buy a new mother board which is almost the same as buying a new laptop or 2) buy a new lap top. Then I brought my laptop to John and he was able to fix my laptop in a perfect condition. It was a minor problem that did not require replacement of mother board or buying a new laptop. Had an old outdated computer that had a hard drive failure. Took it to TLC and determined in long run a new system would be better and work faster with smarter softwares than my old system could handle. Purchased new computer from TLC they managed to recover 93% of old files, email, photos etc. Put them on a external hard drive and had my new system set up and running. Gave free personal training sessions and really nice people to deal with.

I am so happy that North Las Vegas has a computer repair business of the quality provided by TLC. The employees are very friendly, they ask the right questions and never make me feel like an idiot. The service is always done promptly, is fairly priced and the manager, George, is very competent and frequently is at the front desk. I recommend TLC with five stars. (And they have a candy dish on the front counter.)

Technician who came to our house was good. I felt very hurried, and thus didnt get some things done (and some connection issues have come undone and in my feeling rushed, I didnt learn how to connect) as their office called to check on him an whether he was giving extra time to me AND if he was indeed charging me for absolutely everything he did.
