I really like Old Navys clothes and selection, I have for years. My problem is with the check out cashier who signed me up for a credit card without my knowledge. They told me it was a loyalty card, NOT a credit card with interest that I had one hell of a time cancelling, and now my credit score is dinged. So, my suggestion would be that your cashiers need to be much more careful in specifying that the card is NOT a loyalty card (like a punch card or a Hy-Vee gas card), but is in fact a credit card that will now be on my credit record for several years. I feel like Ive been swindled and scammed, and will not be returning to this Old Navy. Which, again, is a shame, since I like Old Navys clothing, and this is the only one in my home town. This is 100% the cashiers fault. If they had specified that it was a credit card, I would not have signed up for it. So, I really feel like I was tricked into signing up for a credit card, which is just terrible customer service all around, and may even be illegal. Best of luck Old Navy at Hilltop, Ill miss you. Update- Im actually switching this to a 1 star review of this Old Navy because the payment they took from my account actually overdrafted me today. I realize that this is not entirely their fault, but it is just more crap on top of a crappier situation that should have NEVER EXISTED.
