Well , I only live about 6 miles away and I have lived in Bellevue for about a year and just discovered this place. The entrance was a bit obscure but capable to get into. Out of townies would have no idea how to get in this place. The food was alright. I was greeted upon arrival which was nice. I sat at the bar. I was asked if I knew what i wanted immediately and I said no. she gave me a menu and then left for a bit. The English egg and ham muffin was kinda good. the muffin could of been crunchier instead of kinda greasy and soggy. The coffee was good. But my coffee was empty for about five minutes. while they were complaining about the cooking appliances. But I heard they have a mean burger. So Ill definitely be coming back for that and there fish and chips. But all in all, not a bad place for breakfast or dinner.

After we found it and the way in (not obvious) we walked in and the server nearest us said hello, then just walked away and left us standing there. We waited for a moment and then assumed we should seat ourselves then. We sat and waited for 5+ minutes while all 3 working there ignored us. The previous server apparently found it more important to chat with people leaving and bus a table than to even acknowledge us. And the other 2 didnt bother either. Even a "well be right with you" wouldve been fine, but being completely ignored is totally unacceptable. Dont go here unless you want to waste your time and leave.

We walked in and were greeted by a hurried "hello". We stood for a few minutes, wondering if we should sit down or wait to be seated. The servers seemed to almost pointedly ignore us. We finally sat a a table near the bar, and continued waiting for someone, anyone, to acknowledge us. Still nothing. We looked around desperately, trying to catch someones eye. Still nothing. We finally stood up, gathered our things, and walked out, all the while continuing to be pointedly ignored. We will not be trying out luck again at this place

Been coming here for years. Theres rarely a problem with the food or service... Until today. Our waitress, "KB," was very busy, so we were more than willing to accept that the service might be compromised. However, there was no excuse for her rudeness, lack of attentiveness, or even waiting 20 minutes for menus - even after asking for them! We will be back, because we like the place and are big on supporting local businesses.

I had a great breakfast here this morning with a few good airmen from the Air Force base here. The food was great and the service was top notch. It was a very nice local little restaurant. I will be visiting again in the near future.

When it comes to down home cooking it just doesnt get much better than this. Friendly staff and great food. Always check the daily specials. My favorite is the cornbeef hash on Saturdays.
