This is a store that my daughter absolutely LOVES but honestly what young kid wouldnt absolutely love any store competely full of toys, games,movies, arts and crafts, books (both to read and color) and so much more? But due to the fact that when you step into that store I would have to say that AT YHE VERY LEAST 95% of EVERYTHING is marked up a good amount more than in any department store. So at Toys R Us its made pretty clear that whike yes your paying the cost of the item but you are automatically paying for the Toys R Us name (even if the atore name is not printed on the box or whatever packaging a product might come in) Also beaides this price mark up for all the se things you can pick up at your local Target or Walmart department stores, I have found that every time i have gone to this store (simply becauae some companies will have "Toys R Us EXCLUSIVES") the staff has NEVER been readily available, it actually really shocked me that i had walked the entire store more than 3 times and i was unable to find A SINGLE EMPLOYEE! This actually happened to me TWICE in A SINGLE WEEK! I only gave in and went back to this store in the first place because I was desperately looking for a specific tablet, that was believe it or not super cheap compared to even online websites. And this tablet i have not been able to find ANYWHERE ELSE. So on my second attempt going to that store I felt as if i were a crazy person because even though this time i did in fact see store employees, each and every single person would male eye contact with me and hear me shouting towards them practally begging for help and each and every one (in all this reoccured with 6 employees!) Practally ran the opposite way knowing full well i needed aasistance. Also no manager or anyone who would be considered " in charge could be found! The only reason i was able to get any kind of help while in the store was because i made a point to stay in the store eventhough they were closing, still 15 minutes after close no one noticed i was still standing there, 20minutes passed and finally 1/person was doing a final wlk through and noticed me and tried to get very rude with me and in tht moment i no longer was able to keep myself calm, i demanded to speak to whoever was in charge and that again took about 10-15 minutes for this women to finally approach me! I was furrious and conaidering this happened ao very recently i am still livid and i hated that i still had to purchase ANYTHING from this place! But had it not been so very important i would have walked out and never returned! But this special motion and educational tablet was the 1 singke thing my daughter had wanted for her 5th birthday. And aa a parent i had to make a choice and of course making the Love of my life so happy was so much more important and meaningful to me that i had to put aside my extreme anger and do what needes to be done for my.little girly. But to be ao very clear... I will nevee set foot jnside a tous r us for a long time... And i will NEVER step foot at the toys r us location off of mid Rivers and Suemandy!

We had a good time shopping at the St. Charles location and experienced wonderful service by several employees. We were helped at length by a nice young man named Mike. He advised us about the different gaming systems and the advantages/disadvantages. This was even after we purchased what we had come in for and we told him that we were not interested in buying any gaming system at this time, but would be in the near future. Also, another woman was very helpful told us the advantages of purchasing the in store "insurance" (only $3.99) for the remote control car we purchased. As we all have probably experienced the disappointment when toys fall apart almost instantly when you take them out of the box, or even a couple months later. She explained how we would be refunded our $ and could repurchase the same item or something else entirely, basically, inevitably when this happens.

The store manager, Casey, gave the most bogus "thats our policy" excuse today when asked if we can exchange a few boxes of diapers that were given at our shower. The boxes were un-opened and we simply wanted to exchange them for the right size. WIthout a receipt, she wouldnt even exchange. Store managers are typically charged with making decisions that benefit the short and long term sales of the store. This store could care a less about keeping customers. Casey obviously wasnt trained, she was simply given a policy guide and, like a robot, she spouts out whatever is written in it. Another reason why my wife and I shop for our 3 children at other stores besides the overpriced and underwhelming Toys R Us. Heres a tip Casey, never say something to a customer that you wouldnt say to your grandmother. Would you say, "Thats our policy, Grandma!".....Well, she might....

Worst customer service ever. They sent me the wrong item. I tried calling EIGHT times. Every time I was on hold for THIRTY minutes before I hung up. The online chat with a representative was never available. They had the nerve to say I could return the item, with the shipping taken out of the refund! All the stores are sold out of the item I actually ordered. The item came in a large box with absolutely no padding so Im sure its damaged on top of being wrong item. NEVER buying from them ever again. Their stores are dirty, messy and the people dont help and I smell like smoke after leaving there.

*I paid ten dollars more for a product that was on sale online, but marked as another product (also on sale, but ten dollars higher) in store. I was told by the employees that it was because the S&H would bring it up to the same price, but everything else I saw on sale online was the same price in store even the item they mismarked this as. It might sound confusing because it unnecessarily is.

Always clean and friendly. As for prices being more expensive than a Walmart or Target, . Toysrus happily price matches. My children love the Birthday club. A hardcover book , a stuffed Geoffrey giraffe, snacks, balloon and an appearance by Geoffrey. I always find great service when needed. I like that the employees know what toy Im talking about even when I dont remember the name, lol.

The store is great. Always has the toy or toys you need. The problem is checkout. There is never enough people working checkout. You will get asked if you need anything multiple times while walking around but time to checkout is bad. Maybe 2 people even during the holidays reminds me a lot of Wal-Mart in that regard.

We love taking our boys here to roam the aisles and pick out a new toy or game. The place is kept neat and the staff is very kid-friendly.

Good service. We were greeted within 30 seconds of entering and asked multiple times thru out our visit if we needed any assistance.
