If you are cheap and live in Springfield, this is the store for you! Honestly, when I first saw it, I thought it may not be my "type" of store since we tend to shop for a lot of organic food. However, the king apple drew me in with his enticing smile, promising to save me Boatloads of Cash. Imagine my surprise when I found an ENORMOUS natural/organic food section at the back of the store! Not only this, but the natural products are very inexpensive, as well; much, much cheaper than the exact same product at some of the local competitors, sometimes half the cost. Surprisingly, they also have a lot of "obscure" products I somehow wouldnt expect to find at a store like this. The rest of the store is priced very competitively, as well, even with the 10 percent added on at checkout. Some things are not a bargain (cereal, for example), but the vast majority of the stuff I buy is quite a bit cheaper here than at, say, the big W. We have made this place our main stop for groceries. The only drawback I can think of is the fact that sometimes I get home and realize something I purchased is expired. Im guessing maybe a lot of the "natural" stuff doesnt sell as quickly, so this is why. However, I always keep my receipt and they give me an exchange or return-- no prob, Bob. Definitely recommend the King!

Careful! You can get a good buy, but you have to look for it! A lot of their stuff is overpriced! You could do much better elsewhere. Check the produce carefully! It looked aged. Check the meat very carefully! There is a reason youre paying $1.35 per pound for the pork. Its turning bad and about to expire! Cook it as soon as you get home. Be sure to calculate the price plus %10. You may actually be paying more for poor quality food that wouldnt sell at a regular grocery store because its close to expiring. So check the expiration dates. Id recommend this place for its special sales. I bought a bag of tortilla chips for .82 cents. But I wouldnt recommend shopping for my regular groceries here.

Normally I love shopping at King Cash Saver. However, today I was highly disappointed. There was no firewood outside, the produce wasnt fresh, the restroom was trashed, I was going to buy a $17.00 pork loin but I couldnt get service in the meat department. Check out was extremely slow and I wasnt able to purchase a book of stamps in the check out lane. Sooooo I had to go to another line at customer service to get stamps. At the service desk I asked for change for a $20.00 which the cashier gladly obliged, but forgot to give me my stamps which I had to remind him to give me.

Up to today, June 28th, 2016 I would of given 5 stars. I refuse to do that until they teach a cashier named "Joanie" .1) PROPER CUSTOMER SERVICE. 2.) How to BAG Groceries properly. 3.) If we put our groceries a certain way on the belt, bag it that way and dont get smart with us (the CUSTOMER) we dont appreciat smashed bread or bags being so packed with different things. Cold with cold, boxes with boxes, fruits and veggies... Really not that hard to do.

I love this place! Yesterday (Sat January 15th 15) I found a bin of chicken - family size FOR JUST 40 CENTS PER POUND!!! It consisted of leg quarters, thighs, and drumsticks.... needless to say I stocked up since I have a freezer which has been empty for almost a year due to high prices of food everywhere else. You need to check this place out if you have been thinking about it.

Rather good budget grocery store. The layout and options are nearly the same as before ownership changed - still has a good fresh produce section and meat service counter. The selection of brands can be limited, but its always easy to get in, find what you need, and check out. Very friendly staff!!

King Cash Saver is a little better than any other supermarket because they have good deals. They do things differently here though where their prices seem lower than they are because they add 10% to the total price at the register, although, supposedly thats the only markup they add.

Appears to be much cheaper than other stores, but when I check out, I often feel as if Ive spent more than elsewhere for similar items. I dont mind this store, as it is convenient. Though, I would like to feel as if Im actually saving when I spend there.

I was in there shopping for the first time and then became enraged when I noticed a sign saying they tack on 10% at checkout. Why not just be honest about the prices up front? Why the weird gimmick? What a scam.

Fair prices on some items but can still find items cheaper at food for less and dont have to worry about budgeting in the extra 10% to the total but they have super friendly staff and clean rest rooms!

If you are looking to buy what is on sale and buy off brands of specific things then you can save some money. If you have specific likes and a list of things you need then it isnt much savings.

There prices are getting quite high, and if you think about it you add ten percent on that and you are paying quite a bit. There prices were good when they first opened, not so much anymore.

Great deals prices are lower but you have a 10% fee added at checkout so somethings are cheaper but somethings are not after taxes and the 10% fee is applied

Usually able to check out quickly. They rarely are out of items and are well stocked. I do miss the bakery , meat counter, and hot food counters though.

I found some good deals. Lines were short. Cashier was rude. Did not respond to my greeting or say have a nice day. I guess you get what you pay for.

Decent prices compared to other stores even with the 10% stocking fee. Just make sure you shop around for the best prices at other places as well.

Good prices but the store is filthy. This is just an example of the mess. These shelfs/coolers havent been cleaned in a long time.
