Poor customer service at the deli this afternoon in between 12:30pm and 1pm. I was literally standing in front of the deli area. I was there for lunch and not once did anyone ask if I needed assistance. I understand it was busy with customers but once all the customers ahead of me were helped I just continued to stand there (with a ticket number in hand that would never be called!) All the deli staff that had finished helping customers dispersed and were talking amongst each other except for the one that was finishing up with her customer. She finally gave me eye contact and assisted me. Not too pleased with todays experience though I have not ever had any issues here before.

I went to Lunds today to ask if I could post a flyer for my missing friend. Not a dog or a cat. An actual human has gone missing in the area. One of the supervisors told me someone has already been there with the same flyer, and Lunds ripped it off the wall. I then asked if I could have it back, and they returned it without the plastic cover. If this was your child missing, Im sure it would be a different story. I am deeply saddened and disappointed that a community store would deface and ruin a flyer for my missing friend. I will never spend money at Lunds ever again.

Reminded once again this evening why I dont shop at this store. Id been gardening all day and was making a quick run for groceries in the evening. ALL of the staff--except for the elderly cashier who was closing our her lane--looked at me with disdain, disrespect, disregard, or did not make eye contact at all, as if I was a non-human being. I will take my large grocery budget where people are treated kindly no matter their age, race, or attire.

Nice store and some nice people who work there. I cannot afford to buy most of the food they have there. I buy very little. Over half of the brands they have are Lunds/Byerly or brands I haven" seen before. You pay for the name I guess but they do not taste any better. I have tried many because there is nothing closer as I have to walk or bus everywhere and I am a Senior and my budget is very small .

UPDATE: No more bakery made onsite, so it loses 2 stars. Sad, because the baker was talented. Pro: Bakery is AWESOME. Not everything in this bakery is made here...BUT....the items that ARE made here are top quality. **This is the ONLY Byerlys/Lunds that has their own onsite baker/pastry chef.** Staff is great!! Cons: grocery prices are way too high. Deli needs to be updated/expanded.

Excellent service, quality and this is a great local location. They will bag and carry your groceries to your car. Prices are higher than grocery stories like Cub foods but lower than Whole Foods. Overall quality of their food is worth. Lunds has a nice olive bar, amazing cheese selection (with an incredibly knowledgeable staff), bakery and dessert selection.

I was underwhelmed. I noted a distinct lack of focus on sourcing local products or higher quality / organic options; overall, this is just a regular old Grocery store. Next time, Ill probably go to Oxendales, TruValue, or Cub Foods, and save a few bucks, or to The Wedge, Seward Co-op, or Mississippi Market and get higher quality, more local foods.

Am not happy that Lunds Byerlys bakery. Not only is the daily selecton limited, but will only offer caraway seed rye bread on Mondays. This is not acceptible. So just want everybody to know that delicious, fresh caraway seed rye bread can be obtained at Cecils deli on Cleveland Ave. In Highland Park. Its awedome!!

The selction of food is great, and the produce always looks amazing. They carry food other groceries dont and have an amazing spread of ready to eat food at the deli, hot bar and salad bar as well as sushi. However, you will pay more for premium shopping. 3 barely full bags of groceries will cost close to 3 digits.

Great selection and getting what you need. Prices are a tad higher due to bag boys so I wouldnt purchase for a family of 4. However if you know your coupons its as cheap as cub with really nice employees who remember you and will go an extra step if you need it.

Friendly and attentive employees. Deli counter is busy but great selections of fresh meats and cheese sliced as you like with free samples.Very wide selection of grocery items. Love the BOGO specials for savings. A bit more expensive than Cubs etc. but worth it.

I love the bakery and cheese section as the baked goods are always fresh and prepared in an artisan manner. The cheeses are fresh too and imported from around the world as well as locally sourced. They always have good food in the hot bar too!!

They have a lot of food items but they are more money then cub foods,rainbow or super target. An average shopping trip when I go I end up spending $30-40. If I were to go to another store probably would be half of that amount.

Cozy and clean, a good selection of groceries, its just really cramped. Narrow aisles. Get to know your neighbors! No drive-up pickup, but they will take your groceries to your car.

Always come for the random stuff - or a really amazing Crème brûlée or other pastry. The BOGOs are always fun to keep an eye out for. They have a really good staff of people.

I like Lunds in general and this location met all my expectations. Reasonable prices with quality selection. Sometimes over priced but not to the extent of Kowlaskis.
