Between wonderful sales and such a clean and friendly staff the only problem Ive had is food over at the by the deli case from the deli case or two the hot food those people sometimes you get your fair share sometimes I think they look at you and think you dont need to eat and treat you different where Pizza area with Chinese Bakery and then we take pictures are awesome and every week I didnt good value I feel like I even have a few friends share but somebody needs to look at the portion to the hot food place I realize theres a new restaurant people need to go to also be nice to have something posted about their menu or if they have a happy hour or whatever I did she did that happy Royals watch party didnt know about it till that day so I couldnt go I will go eat at the new grill soon .... I shop there every week and Im grateful thank you for being the best you could be.

Ive shopped here for 8 years. Always a nice place to shop. Ive never had an unpleasant experience with any of the employees, thats saying something considering the number of employees encountered over the years. They may not always have the lowest prices, but they are reasonable enough and anything extra to avoid the disagreeable cashiers and criminal activity at the W makes it worthwhile. They also have a great health food section and liquor store. All of my opinions are based on the available stores in Raytown, not any of the special store scattered around the metro area on either side of the state line. Im not willing to drive more than 10 minutes nor pay outrageous prices for groceries.

The young man who seems to work in frozen constantly is one of the nicest people Ive ever interacted with at any Hy-Vee. He is very polite and courteous. Even if he seems busy, hell still ask you how youre doing and if you need help finding anything, even if it isnt in his department. Even if youre very capable of finding an item youve asked the location for, hell still walk you to it. How is he not a manager? But thats beside the point. The entire store is great, but this department is the highlight of my grocery shopping. If there is an item thats out of stock that youre looking for, hell tell you when the next delivery is and the ETA of that delivery. I hope he never leaves!

I had a horrible experience I spent 100.00 on Seafood. Butcher said take this ticket pay for it and it will be brought to you immediately. The cashier rung me up didnt know the procedure of the prepay process. She rudely said well you gonna have to walk back and tell them. I asked for the manager he took 15mins to get to register. He didnt acknowledge the mess up not did he apologize. I will be calling corporate Monday this process needs to be expedited especially when I had paid already and was just left at the register. Never Never going this Hyvee again bad service and bad attitude kids working the registers and a manager whos doesnt take his job seriously

Order 1 full sheet and one half sheet for our boys birthday party. The full sheet cake was supposed to be half chocolate and half white. However, the chocolate half was STRAWBERRY. Not red-devil. Not chocolate. Not swirl. Strawberry. None of the kids wanted it, so it went to waste. We called HyVee the same day. They told us to call back on Monday when the bakery manager would be in. We did so and traded information. They apologized and said they would refund half of the cake price. So far so good. When we went in a couple of days later, the manager says hes never heard of anything and wont refund without a receipt. Complete waste of $25.

My review is on the Hy-Vee Catering and Bakery. The entire experience for my husband birthday party went smoothly. Sam was amazing. He was able to complete my last minute order during a holiday weekend without any problems. It didnt bother me at all that it was too late to deliver. I was just happy that I didnt have to cook. Stephon, Ronnelle, and another gentleman that worked in the deli were very helpful when I needed to pick up my order. And, Hy-Vee Bakery was able to complete my order very well. I had to order another cake the day before and they were able to get them both done for me by Saturday. I have no complaints. Thank you.

Came in late tonight. Still new to Raytown. le GOOD: Justin night clerk, was great, helped find best priced florals. Store always clean/ great humans work there. Some local brands/product. Staff peeps truly make this store legit, from daylight rush to stock crew. le BAD: Bakery: rarely pistachio muffins. Wine/Spirits: continually missing Le Freak with other Green Flash brewskies...even upon request. Produce: NO adventure, no good herbs. le UGLY: I have no idea who/what manages inventory in tea , buuuuut goddamn, you FAIL. In both reg/nat store sides...

I ordered a fruit platter from Price Chopper 24 hours in advance but when I went to get it they told me they did not and would not make in time for my party. I call HYVEE in Raytown and they told me to come out and they would make one right then and there. When i got there she had 2 to choose from fresh made just for ME. I chose one and she put the other out on the shelf. Customer Service done right. I would have kissed her but didnt want anyone to think i was a perv.

Becky and Julie have the worst customer service!! They should not have a position that requires working with tons of people everyday ! Also , I feel they could take better care of there employees ... some of the things that I have witnessed in that store is mind blowing ... Ill never step back in that particular store however I do love HyVee... the culture of that store makes you not want to be there...

Huge THANK YOU to this Hy-Vee for agreeing to and completing On TWO DAYS NOTICE a catered lunch for 100+ people at my workplace for an event. They did an awesome job, provided baked herb chicken & pulled pork, many sides, and all silverwear etc. needed!! I, as well as the rest of my co-workers, really appreciate it-!!! Thanks, Hy-Vee. I ordered from this store online multiple times and I always chose home delivery. A few times the delivery driver was 20 minutes late. Every time this happened I had to call the store to find out what was going on. Whats the point of paying $5 for delivery and choosing the hour of delivery if they are not being able to get there on time?

Clean store, friendly staff, good selection(especially in the health market) the pizza and Chinese are good, the butchers are awesome and will go the extra mile for you. Almost forgot the liquor department, fantastic beers (try a Firestone Walker) Obviously where I do my shopping
