This store has HORRIBLE customer service especially in the AUTOMOTIVE department (store location: Maplewood/ Brentwood Wal-Mart). I bought 4 tires for my vehicle about 3 weeks ago and the auto team broke my TPMS (indicating corrosion). I was asked to purchase a new one and they would put it on my vehicle reimbursing me for the purchase. I priced them and found out for my car the part would be about $100 at the dealer and $86 at O Reilly. I called to inform them of the price to make sure I would be reimbursed to find out they would just order the part (same brand) and it would take 4-7 weeks to receive it. I agreed I would wait...now, that was on a Saturday. The manager Matt called me back on Monday and told me the part was in and wanted to verify when I could bring my vehicle in. He also stated he would be on vacation but he would let the team know to expect me when indicated (which was Sat.). I arrived Saturday to find out the purchased a much cheaper part (a universal part) which was not the agreement. I informed them I wanted a warranty in case something went wrong and I was told they would give me a warranty by Matt Dothan - automotive manager. To make a long story short, they wanted to replace my original TPMS with one that was much cheaper ($38 - per. Elliot. C.). Needless to say, I was there for 5 hours..I dropped my car off for an oil changed and the part to be replaced at 1 pm CST 5/21 (I was told it should take about an hr.) I was there for 3 hours before I returned and my car had not been serviced "AT ALL". Elliot C. apologized and told me that I can get the oil changed for free. Per Elliot C. - automotive supervisor, the serviced another silver Dodge Avenger in place of mine with an apology. After they finally finished my car at 4:15...I was told they didnt have a warranty for that particular part nor could they put anything in writing (per. Elliot C.). All of that was previously discussed "before the part was put on". Now, I want the part taken off because they wouldnt give me any in writing for comfort of this part wouldnt fail on my vehicle. I was told by Elliot C. that I can just take his word for it and that if anything goes wrong I can just bring my car back. So, after they removed the part I didnt leave Wal-Mart AUTOMOTIVE until 5:30 pm CST. 5/21. THIS IS CRAZY AS HELL! NEVER AGAIN! I sat there and witnessed another persons vehicle be damaged by this same staff. DONT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE...THESE COULDNT POSSIBLY BE LICENSED MECHANICS!

I dont usually do google reviews, but im pretty livid. So, it took me 20 minutes to check out. I went to 3 registeres (the only 3 open). The first, the girl looked 16 and was moving so slow, so then the next I didnt even bother with because the lady had literally walked away from the register, so I went to the last one. She had 4 other employees helping her with the issue(this was the one I spent 20 minutes at) the guy in front of me had bread and movie, thats it. When I finally get up there, all she does is complain about work, and him and then give me attitude when I dont agree with her about this man, she also charged my most expensive item (this 20$ flannel) twice. Probably on purpose. And then gives me a huge attitude about taking it off. I was SO polite too. OH also, this lady continued to ignore me and went about talking to other employees, and someone she knew in the store. As if I could wait on her, with a huge line behind me. Then when I finally go to leave 6 employees are are standing outside smoking(of course I get stared at and cat called). I smelled weed and looked over and theyre passing a one hitter, in front of at least 10 customers outside. Not only that but they were acting like they were on coke and screaming and jumping around. Never, ever going back. I will drive 45 minutes to the Kirkwood location.

Every time I go here I have problems, 100% with staff. One racist bald black guy in electronics who will walk right past me while Im waiting to be helped to serve someone else, customer service who provide absolutely no service. For instance tonight the cab that brought me to the store left before i finished, I asked one of the CSMs if they could call me a new cab since I was there to buy a new SIM for my phone and couldnt use it yet. Their response was "we dont have the number for a cab" while Im quite sure the store and the smart phone in her hand were both connected to Google. Instead I ended up asking a nice young man pushing carts outside and he was happy to let me use his phone to look up and call the cab. Meanwhile, I had been walking around the store with my just purchased groceries getting hot trying to find someone who could do this simple task since customer service wasnt up to serving customers. Add in isles completely blocked by restocking supplies, long lines because they wont put on enough cashiers, etc... the only reason I still go is because its the only place to get my SIM cards when Im an idiot and lose one. Otherwise Target gets my money, and will continue to do so until WalMart has convinced me they have addressed these issues.

my experience with walmart is generally ok . i my opinion the upper exec"s need to be more helpful to store management , that in turn will help them with employees and maybe change the moral of everyone . i know the bottom line is profit but who does it benefit if the employees aren"t happy or the customers aren"t satified let management have their alloted hours for their departments and have enough people to help with customers and get their departments looking good .. it would not stress everyone out and probably increase sell rather than complaints. i like walmart but dont like the long lines and the cashiers cant be the blame cause i see them working as hard as they can . please think about the holiday season coming up if you have enough people working it makes for a smoother transition in the store and more people will mention that to their friends and family that this store and other stores are doing more for us and then youll have less people gripping ll Plus management in all stores need to realize that when theres a problem they need to respond and not get made at the employee/employees who call them. Thats their job .also let the employees who do work hard and do their jobs need to be commended and appreciated

Really bad service. Worst service! They have racist employees, very rude to customers. My friend and I went shopping, we pay separately for what we purchased. My friend got some beer and when she tried to check out, they asked for my ID. MY ID! Seriously? They said it is there rule, and even she has id, they cannot sell alcohol to her because I might drink her beer. So I guess Walmart dont sell alcohol to parents who bring their children shopping with them, because they might let their children drink the alcohol they purchase. My friend and I are both over 21 and this is not the first time we purchase alcohol. And this is the first time we hear about this ridiculous rule. These employees talked to us in a very rude way, when my friend said she would be the only person drink these beer because she is the one who pay for them, they interrupted her and they looks like to have you lier on their face. They do not even want to explain why and just rudely said go talk to the manager if you want. Very rude, I guess it is because we are international students, not US citizen. Well, thank you for your friendship, Walmart.
