I went in out of boredom one day and found this tiny little device in the electronics section. I was intrigued by it and decided to buy it. When I went to the counter however, the cashiere made a huge deal over the sticker pealing a bit, claiming it wasn't the original sticker (even though it very clearly was) and then attempted to sell it to me for double the sticker price. I felt like I was being treated like a criminal over a 50 cent item. Very rude. This is no way to treat a customer. I did buy the item, (a dollar is still cheap) but the way I was treated was unacceptable.

This place is too legit to quit! First of all, it doesnt smack you with the smell of smokers clothing when you walk in the door. Everything is kept in order and has many signs to categorize the merch. The place is kept clean and you dont feel like you need to shower asap like some other stores Ive been to. Its also really big, and there is plenty to choose from for the whole family. The prices are reasonable, and its nice to give back to the community if thats your thing. The staff are really nice, and the manager is really cool. You should check it out if youve never been!!

Considering its a thrift store, everything is neat and clean and well-organized. The prices are decent. If youre looking for second-hand furniture for a project, this is your place. Like most other thrift stores, I do wish theyd realize when an item simply is not saleable. For example, used cookie tins that are not genuinely vintage should go in the trash. The wooden/floral decorations families give after Grandma dies are also not saleable, nor yet are her extensive collection of cheap glass trinkets. :)

GREAT STORE! Liberty is fortunate to have such a great store. It is clean, organized, good quality, enjoyable to shop, the people who volunteer are always helpful, great prices and if you are one to shop a lot of thrift stores you can appreciate that it smells great! I love the mission of Hillcrest and that my money is supporting families in Liberty! I shop this store every day the inventory constantly changes! I also donate my stuff here because it goes back to the program/people!

This thrift store is like treasure hunting heaven! Their prices are so reasonable! I have furnished almost my entire house with furniture and other housewares from Hillcrest! I have never gone in and come out empty handed. The shelves are organized and clean. The atmosphere is fresh, open and inviting! Their volunteers clearly work hard to put out quality items and display them very well. The treasure hunting is endless! And the money you spend also goes to a great cause!

The employees are young, immature & useless! They closed the store an hour early so they could sit around on the furniture being lazy! I repeat the employees are stealing time from a charity. A CHARITY! A fair share of profit could have been made in this time instead of lazily staring out the windows mocking customers. I feel sorry for the houses & families they raise money for, or should be making money for if it wasnt lost on such incompetent hands.

Came to the store about 10 minutes before closing the lady would not let us in. She claimed the store closes at 5 which is unfortunate because I just moved to the area and needed to find some furniture. Having previously worked retail, it is principal that you keep the doors to the store open until actual closing. I do not believe the hours of this location are correct, the hours for closing should be changed to 4:50.

After recently moving to Missouri, I quickly realized that both my daughter and I needed warmer clothes. Plus, she no longer had to wear uniforms to school, so I really needed to get her more "regular" clothes at a price I could afford. Hillcrest is awesome. All their clothes are either new, or "in new condition", plus the prices are great. Overall great store, great people, and great place to volunteer!!

Hello, I go into HIllcrest Thrift store at times and am always able to find just the right thing be it clothing or that special something to brighten up the home. They have a wide selection of furniture and video games and even sports equipment. Their prices are reasonable and you cant beat their choice of seasonal items like X-Mas decorations or Halloween things. Overall its a great place to shop.

My wife bought a piece of furniture and advised that she couldnt take it that day... We told them the exact day we would be there. Came in to pick it up and found out they sold it to someone else... How do you take someones money and turn around and sell it to someone else?! There was barely an apology, no sympathy... Horrible service!

I just purchased an old wooden desk to refinish for my kitchen today. It was only $6.00, you just cannot beat that price! The pick up policy is great, you have until 4pm the next day which is better than most stores. Its a VERY clean and organized store and I will definitely be back to search for more treasures!

This is a great thrift store. Every time I go I find new treasures! The people are nice. Great prices. The place feels and smells much more clean and up to date than most thrift stores. Also, I like knowing that the money I spend there goes to help out people in the community. 5 stars from me :)
