I want to start this off by saying, I enjoy teavanna tea. There hasnt been a tea Ive met there, that I didnt enjoy. The brand is amazing and I joke quite often with my friends that I am addicted to teavana tea. Today was my first experience in teavana that I did not enjoy. I went in for a new tea called beach Bellini, and they were sold out. I understand this completely and I was not mad, a little disappointed but not mad. The sweet girl that was helping me, started me off by smelling a few teas that were within the same variety to the one I was originally trying to purchase. I decided on a few others and everything was going fine, until the manager stepped out from the back. She was indeed a rude and unapproachable type of person. So much that, I dont typically write reviews but on my hour drive back home decided I needed to contact someone higher than she was and explain how bitter of a taste she truly left me with. I had a coupon and I asked the sweet girl who was helping me what part of my email she needed to see or scan and she turned to her manager (I am assuming she was a newly hire) and asked her how she would go about getting the discount into the computer. The manager so meanly said to her "you are kidding me? I showed you this last week". She then looked at me and rudely in my opinion said "well you know this wont work because it has to be thirty dollars spent in non sale items". I completely understood this as I was spending 50+ dollars on their products, with just one canister on sale....a 7.95 canister that was 30% off. Regardless...this to me told me I looked as if I only purchased sale items and also felt a little labeled. When the sweet girl helping me told her I was spending over the $30 in non sale items, the manager rolled her eyes as she continued to show her employee how to discount my purchase. After that was done the manager went into the back and I never saw her again. She was short and snappy with her employees in a way that it seemed they were afraid of her. There was a now hiring sign out front, and in my opinion its because no one wants to work for a woman like her. Like I said I dont typically give reviews, and never really a negative comes from me, but for the sake of her employees I needed to say something. She was disrespectful not only to her employees but in the demeanor she was giving me as a customer. I will from now on continue my teavana shopping at the oak park mall.

Always a wonderful experience in my favorite tea store! The tea tour is a just a few moments of civility wrapped in excellent customer service! Very friendly staff who helped me make a selection as I was travelling on the road. The selection of teas is extraordinary; the customer service is quite accommodating. I tasted the Chai Rooibos and several others. The aromas are hallucinating and quite relaxing. Parking is available on the street, in the Country Club Plaza, though youll probably want to enjoy a nice stroll with a wonderful cup of tea.

Staff were extremely helpful in tracking down a specific mug we were on the hunt for and were so nice to offer us 2oz of tea for free when a payment snafu led to taking more time to rectify than expected. We will definitely be back!

Always a pleasant experience going in to order iced tea. They have a great selection of teas and mugs, cups, etc. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them!
