So I hate to be the first non-glowing review, but Ive been twice and been a little frustrated both times. Let me start with the positives though. Great place, a convenient location for me, they seem to have good coffee, good atmosphere, friendly service, etc. To be fair, my wife loves them. I really want them to do well because they seem like good people and I would love to see a good local coffee shop stick around. However, the things that bother me are 1) the price - as compared to the amount of coffee you get, its just doesnt feel competitive. The first time I went in, I got an Americano (with hazelnut flavoring) which are usually on the cheaper side, and paid over $3 for it, which if it was a reasonable size would be great, but it was like an 8oz cup. Which brings me to my next issue, 2) No choices in sizes or paper cups- even if I am going to sit down at a coffee shop, I will typically still ask for a paper cup because I like to sit for a while and sip on my coffee while I work, the wide mouthed cups cool off way too quick to make that enjoyable. 3.) No self serve creamer. That first time I went, I asked for room for creamer, didnt get any and then when I asked for the creamer, he sat there and waited for me to pour it in, which was awkward as I felt I had to rush to sip really hot coffee out of my already minuscule amount of coffee and to pour enough creamer in there for me to enjoy it. In the end, I just accepted a less than ideal, overpriced cup of coffee. 4) No free refills on drip coffee. Maybe its not, but to me, this just seems standard. Obviously, Im a frugal guy, but I have to be, I dont have a lot of extra money to spend on luxuries like gourmet coffee and the like. However, it is nice to be able to go in to a coffee shop and sit for a few hours to get some work done. In other places I frequent, it works well to get a cup of their drip and get a few refills (especially if they are small cups) as I work. However, with this not being an option, and with the other issues Ive mentioned here, my tendency will be to just be to avoid it, and go a little further to one of the other options of places where I can sit and use the WiFi. That is why I decided to write the review, I really would love to be able to use them, and for them to succeed, however, right now, they just dont seem to fit what I want/need in a coffee shop. If they make some adjustments, (on almost any of these things) Ill be happy to change my review.

My kids (college age) love this place and like to take me with them so that I can pay for their coffee. Depending on what time of day they take me, I get a coffee "pour over" or one of their beers. I like the "Guatemalan" pour over and one of their beers that I cant remember the name of unless they tell me. I feel very old in there too. It looks like a day care that gives their kids coffee. Also - I am the only one in there without some sort of tablet computer. Lots of bloggers. Try this place out - you wont regret it. Hopefully oil keeps going up so I can afford to go a little more often. Good job owners!! UPDATE: you can see celebrities in here. I think I see Daisy Duke from the Dukes of Hazards in here now. She looks a little worn down, but I am pretty sure it is her. UPDATE 2: not her - forget seeing celebrities in here. Still good coffee though.

Great espresso drinks & machines seem well-calibrated & cared for. During our transaction another customer came up & ordered & I noticed the shots for our Americano were sitting as the barista completed the other transaction & she immediately tossed the shots & made more so they were fresh - good eye & got my recommendation for quality for sure! I also ordered a pour-over which was great but instead of the simple single pour should have been allowed to bloom a little more. Overall, highly recommend for small groups but avoid the study groups that pop up from Letourneau that haunt the cafe without ordering because of the air of pretentiousness that comes along with them.

The coffee is incredible. I didnt know what a latte was supposed to taste like before they made me one. Seriously - it is that good. It is expensive though. Dont ask questions. These guys are serious coffee nerds and cant wait to lecture you with TMI about coffee. Kinda Austin-like in the vibe. There was even a homeless guy trying to play guitar outside. Inside looks like a lot of bloggers on computers drinking coffee. Beer is good if you are into craft beers. It is also expensive (mine was $6.50/pint), but they will let you try before you buy.

The Silver Grizzly is an expansive and diverse space that is filled with natural light - a perfect study spot for college students. Bridge 281, a formidable competitor, does not offer the relatively early open hours that this pleasant hangout locale offers. I ordered, and am impressed with, their Blue Crane herbal tea. Their menu has plenty of options, and everyone I know who has been here loves their foods and drinks.

Hand made Espresso, Latte and Cappuccino in a hand made building. Friendly staff in a very hip industrial setting gives Longview its second trendy place to have a drink. The bare bones, exposed rafter and air ducting look is match well by its young hipster staff. The entire building has been renovated except for the Floor and Original store front windows. Locally brewed breakfast beers are available on tap.

Awesome place!!!! Having worked at a coffee shop, I am now SUPER picky about my coffee/lattes. Especially because I often get decaf with no added syrups or sweeteners so its so much easier to taste any imperfections in the drink. And I have NEVER gotten a drink here that was not absolutely fantastic!!! Staff is always great, and the atmosphere is perfect. Coolest place in Longview!!!

This a wonderful place to hang out and explore and see, touch and feel. It a great way to get a fix for your creative outlet. But if you are like me not creative but know what you like, They can create it for you, and even help you find what youre not sure you were looking for. I appreciate them so much Shannon, Barbara and Kaylee, such talented professionals. Way to go!

The best new addition to Longview and the East Texas area! Wonderful coffee (albeit a bit pricy - expect Starbucks prices of the $3-5 range), great atmosphere, and a great downtown location! With free Wi-Fi, tall, open rafter ceilings, and lots of variety in places to sit, its my go to spot for working away from the office, to read, or spend time with a friend.
