We were sold two vehicles within a week, neither had valid safety inspections (which is illegal) & one broke down the day after purchase. We were told by Laura that the first vehicle, a Buick sedan, had been an oversight & shouldnt have been listed for sale, prior to inspection. We returned it & purchased a Ford Flex, which stopped running the following day, which was a Saturday night. We learned that the starter & battery were both bad, that the alternator and brakes were also going out, & that this vehicle also had no current safety inspection, despite being told that it had. The dealership was closed on Sunday, so we had to wait another day with an undrivable vehicle. On Monday, we spoke with both the office manager in Gladstone, MO, as well as their corporate office, only to be told that we would have to pay out of pocket for a starter, a battery, & a safety inspection & be reimbursed by the company or to pay have the vehicle towed to the lot for repairs before the 5 day trial period was up (by now, it has already been 3 days with the weekend,) or receive a refund on our deposit, which will take 7-10 additional days to "process." If we are unable to get the undrivable nightmare of a vehicle back to the lot on our own within 2 days, weve been advised that were stuck with it. Theyve accepted absolutely no responsibility for the condition of the vehicle, or the illegal nature of the sale(s.) We were shocked to find that even their corporate office was of no assistance. Weve now been forced to file complaints with both the states attorney & the Better Business Bureau to seek resolution in the form of vehicle removal and an immediate refund of our deposit.

From the time we walked in the door we had an absolutely amazing experience. We were first greeted by Anthony the Gm who was very nice. He was great at explaining how Drivetime worked and what would be expected and required. He was very patient answering all of our questions. Next we took the next 2 weeks to really decide what we wanted and reviewed the bluebook value vs what they were asking for the car. We found their price was right on target for blue book price. During those 2 weeks our sales associate Derrick would call and check in making sure we didnt have questions etc however never any annoying sales calls or pressure. They let us take our time which was nice. When we finally decided on the car a Toyota Highlander we came in and Derrick made the whole process positive and easy. Being a nurse it is important for me to have a reliable, dependible car and thats exactly what I got from Drivetime! Up until now we had only been to Toyota dealerships and to be honest its not that we didnt have a good experience there but this experience felt more personal and easier. It felt like buying a car from a long lost friend. Thanks so much Drivetime! We will recommend you to everyone!

My husband and I went in to purchase a vehicle, sort of at the last minute. We walked in at 1pm, and was immediately greeted by Marcus. He asked us what we were looking for, and took us to find our what we could be eligible for. It took a very short amount of time, and we were out doing test drives. I wanted a minivan, the husband wanted something NOT a minivan.. Lol. Marcus helped us with both of our needs. We drove 3 different vehicles, all of which were really nice options. Marcus was very knowledgeable, and made the test driving part easy. He also listened to our banter back and forth. Lol. Once we had chosen our vehicle, we has about an hour before we had to be home to get our kids from school. Marcus and Laura (she was super nice) had our paperwork and signatures done in 47 mins. I have never been thru paperwork in that amount of time. It was amazing! Marcus took the car to be cleaned, and we drove it home! Its been a great family car so far. Marcus was perfect, and we definitely recommend anyone to ask for him, when purchasing a vehicle from Drive Time in Gladstone. We plan to go back for any future purchases. Thanks again!

To start off, the customer service here when I got my car was awesome, they made me feel like I could have any car I wanted, and gave me lots of their time. But now Im honestly kind of disappointed. I got my car in May 2016, it is now March 2017, so I have not had my car a year and things have gone wrong. First my TPMS sensors went bad, after the first couple months. Then a couple months later my radio started turning off and on while I was driving! Some type of electrical/ fuse issue. And both times when I called to explain what was going of course NOTHING was covered, even though there is a warranty on my car and I havent had my car a year. NOW I am having to replace all 4 tires because of them dry rotting, and come to find out then tires on my car are 4 years old.... and I havent even had this car a full year. I am just a little shocked how these things that are going wrong in the first year, they wont even offer to take care of. I make all my payments on time and was extremely happy when i first got my car, now Im just disappointed.

I was recommended by my cousin to go to Drive Time, I wasnt sure about them but I went anyway. I got a warm and friendly welcome as soon as I stepped into the place. I was guided by Miss Emily Edwards, throughout the short process. She was so down to earth and straight forward. She was so patient and ambitious about helping me find the perfect car. At Drive Time they keep their business upfront and they dont beat around the bush. They ran my information and let me choose between a few cars that were in my affordable price range, followed with a wrap-up, Mr. Anthony Downs, a handsome, blue- eyed, southern charmer, sealed the deal. I definitely consider myself family at Drive Time and I would reccommend the place to anyone. I payed a decent down payment, I have an affordable car note, no cosigner, and most importantly, a sexy yet reliable car. Im so blessed to be a member of Drive Time, and you can too just go online and apply today! -A. Perry

I was happy with the dealership itself when purchasing the car, but have only had my car three months, and it is in the shop for AC low free on, Tire gauge system, my brakes and routers all need to be re placed, my coolant has two leeks, and the Transmission in leeking in two spots You are telling me you will only cover the coolant leek. I have had this car less than 90 days. And the brakes are so bad they need new routers...???...Thats is not normal wear and tear...thats neglagance. Leek in the transmission....not an over night thing either....you sold me a car I can not even drive!!! Now I am suppose to pay over 1000 dollars in damage...to the vehicle I just bought from you, and am still paying for? How is that service? Sorry we see it is broken, but your problem not ours....wow. Not what I expected from the reviews I read online. Super disappointed.
