It is a shame I even have to give CPR Cell Phone Repair Brentwood one star. They are underserving of even that. I will actually go out of my way to discourage others from using this establishment when seeking phone repairs. After the tech ran the diagnostics and confirmed the "cracked screen needs replacement" and "LCD works fine" the ticketed items on my receipt contained "Part- Phone iPhone 6S LCD/Digitizer WHT." Among other things I was quoted $109.00 and paid $119 for labor ($45) and the aforementioned part ($74). Note: I did pay an additions $24.99-$5 off tempered glass w/ repair so $19.99 for a Mobile Defenders Accessory- Screen Protector: iPhone 6/6S Tempered Glass Shield. This is important since I didnt even have the phone 24 hours before the screen was cracked under the screen protector! This crack could not have possibly happened through any fault of my own as there was no trauma to the device in the very few hours that I possessed the phone after the repair and before the new crack appeared. It was simply taken in and out of my pocket for those very few hours. When I called to ask about getting the device checked out to see if there may have been a defective part used or something of the like I was offered a measly $10 off of a new screen. Not a chance CPR. You are performing shoddy work for top dollar prices and I will not stand for this. I will take my business elsewhere and I hope you all will consider doing so as well. Spend the extra money and get your devices fixed by the manufacturer. They will use legitimate parts and cover you with a warranty!

I dropped off my phone on 9/4/14, and was told 3-5 business days to receive the new screen, plus a few hours for the installation. Called them on 9/9/14 for a status update, was told the screen has not shipped yet, and they were just discussing how they need to start telling customers 5-7 business days. Called again on 9/13/14, still not shipped. Person said they would talk to their "front office" about sourcing a new screen, and he would contact me on Monday, 9/15/14. Received no call. Went to pickup phone on 9/17/14. Phone was taken apart, my deposit was refunded without much incident. When I installed my own screen, I discovered I had an EXTRA camera mixed in with my ziplock bag of parts, meaning another customer is missing their camera. This incident was mostly out of their hands, but their lack of communication is unacceptable when youre talking about a $220 repair on a $500+ phone. They should have better sources for parts, or at least offer a discount when made to wait almost two weeks for a "3-5 business day" repair. I do not recommend this company. If youre even slightly handy with a screw driver and electronics, YouTube and eBay can easily save you $75+ Edit: After re-assembling my phone, I realized they broke the coaxial cable antenna wire. They failed to include the actual antenna with my ziplock bag of parts, but did include the tiny connector tip of the antenna. Very thoughtful. Thats an extra $14 on eBay, and 3-5 day wait. Thank you Cell Phone Repair. I cannot stress enough how far you should stay away from this company!

I went to CPR after my Samsung Galaxy S3 started turning itself off and being difficult to turn back on. They said it was most likely the power button and that it should be easy to fix because they see it a lot. I put down $45 for a down payment towards the total $65 cost and they said it would take about an hour and a half because they had the replacement part ready. I got a call about an hour later that they had taken my phone apart before they made sure they had the right part to fix it. The offered to order the part and give me a loaner phone which wouldnt work for me because I was about to move out of state for the summer. I finally convinced them that they needed to put my phone back together and give me my money back, but when I went to pick up my phone it wouldnt turn on at all anymore because the power button was completely messed up after their work. I was happy to get my money back, but my phone was at least partially functional before I brought it in and they made it completely non-functional. I wouldnt have minded waiting in the store while they checked to make sure they had the correct part, but they assured me it would be fixed easily which was obviously not the case. Obviously they cant fix every problem, but they did not handle it in the most professional way because it seemed like no big deal to them that they made my phone unusable because of their carelessness.

In the estimate email I requested I told them that I had the original Droid RAZR. They didnt tell me in the return email that they had to order the part. I got to the store and they told me this. It wouldve been nice for them to tell me that and I could have done the deposit over a friends phone. I then emailed them about the progress being made and they didnt reply. I called back the next morning asking about the progress. They told me they ordered the wrong color even though my phone was in their possession. They then told me that it wouldnt be done until the following week. I told them to just put that wrong color on. They then told me that it would be done in an hour. I got there an hour and a half later and they hadnt even started working on my phone when I got there. They dont apologize for any inconvenience to your face. They are horrible with time management and dont care that they told you something wrong. I sat there in the store to make sure that my phone got fixed in a timely manner since they dont have any time management. They didnt apologize for the inconvenience at all and just wanted their money. I will not go back to that store even though I have a 6 month warranty on the work done. I had to finish snapping the face back on the phone and I am missing the Motorola Face plate on the ear piece.

I highly recommend this store. Top notch service. Like an idiot, I dropped my phone in the toilet. After trying to repair it myself, I decided to take it to the CPR store. After hearing the make and model of phone and the error message I was getting, Tom said it was most likely the charge port. He said it would be $25 down with the remainder due when the repair was successful. Unfortunately, the repair was not successful. The CPR staff offered to use my same $25 down toward a water damage repair with the remainder due only if the repair was successful. Tom emailed me a few hours later with the news... It was successful and now my phone works! And for much less than I expected to pay! The staff - especially Tom - at this store was extremely helpful and all had great attitudes. I was very impressed with their skill and their customer service.

I have had my phone fixed at a CPR in the past. This review is not for this specific store, so take that for what you will; however companies like these are charging upwards of 80$ for convenience. Places like this are a rip off and are taking advantage of people and can do so because they know people want their phones fixed without having to wait for the parts in the mail. I was replacing my screen (yes for the second time on my 2 year old iPhone 6, 4.7") and they wont sell me or you the parts because they know they are charging 200% markup. They want 65$ for a 5$ park and they charge 100$ for a job they can complete in 10 minutes where the part is between 15 and 25$ depending on what model you have. Companies like this suck. If anyone knows a local place to buy parts, please let me know.
