So this was my first tattoo and it was a GREAT experience!!! After years of figuring out what I wanted to do, I finally jumped in there and went in for my consult. I had picked Mary to do my tattoo because of her awesome drawings of anchors and flowers. Which would be a big part of my tattoo. From the time Mary walked up, I felt like Ive known her for years! My wife was with me and we both felt the same. She listened to my ideas, showed her pictures and answered 1,001 questions that a newbie has like a champ! She took her time and smiled the whole time while doing it. So the day finally came and that same smiling, outgoing and super sweet Mary we had met was still there. Of course, my nerves were in full force but she talked me through the whole process. Now for the art that she drew...I could have NEVER imagined it any better than what she did. She literally took my jumbled up ideas, a picture or 2 of tats, and came up with an awesome drawing for my tattoo! During the whole process, she was laughing and making feel really comfortable. I honestly could not have imagined my first time getting a tattoo would be such an awesome time! Again, my wife was with me, my piece has to do with her and my love for family so I naturally wanted her there, loved Mary as well! Its been a week now and the tattoo is looking great. What prompted me to write a review was not only from my great experience from my consult to the actual day, but Mary even took time out of her day to see how everything was going with the tattoo! Customer service before and after an event is big for me and Mary and the rest of the staff that I dealt with at Twisted Anchor delivered! I highly recommend anyone looking to get their first, 2nd or 10th tattoo, check out Twisted Anchor! You wont go wrong there! Every time I called them, the girl behind the desk was super nice and eager to answer or explain anything I threw at her!
