Brians amazing customer service will keep me a returning loyal customer despite part malfunction. I purchased and installed a serpentine belt and tensioner assembly for my wifes Honda van but the belt kept slipping off (3 attempts). Brian suggested a clever tip which was placing a crayon on the running belt to help clear out any possible gunk on the pulleys. Unfortunately, the belt still fell off. After purchasing and installing Honda original parts, the belt stayed on suggesting the issue was either the belt or tensioner assembly purchased from Advanced. Brian was present when I went to return the parts. He pulled up my receipt with my phone number and processed the return without incident. Brian was knowledgeable, professional, and provided outstanding customer service. I learned that not all aftermarket parts are going to be as consistent or function as well as manufacture original parts. Such is life. But despite the extra hassle and time of this experience, I will continue to make Advanced Auto Parts my number one stop for repairs and replacements because of the excellent customer service. Well done Brian!! *PS: I didnt mention how great it was to be able to check out (w/ refundable deposit) the special tensioner assembly tool which they had in stock.
