I understand that consignment shops have to make back the money they pay out plus have to make profit so they are picky about the items they choose to buy... however, it is ridiculous the amount they offer! PLUS, CLOTHES MENTOR DOES NOT TELL YOU OR PROVIDD YOU A LIST HOW MUCH THEY WILL OFFER FOR YOUR ITEMS!!! This is how they make their money doing crappy business. They sell their items for high prices but will try to give their sellers the lowest buy rate possible! Perfect example: i brought in teo pairs of Rock Revivals - less than 8 months old, no flaws - perfect condition! These retail at 129-170 a pair! Four pairs of Miss Me Jeans excellent condition! Retail 99-129 a piece Two Anthropologie Pilcro and the letterpress skinnies retail 80 a piece Two MK cardigans! Less than three months old perfect condition a pair of TORY BURCH BOOTS. Retail 300 dollars! And 4 plain jc pennys blouses. They bought everything except for the 4 blouses. 11 total items. Retail value over 1,000. But per consignment value - it would fall between 300-500. Most fair consignment shops pay out 1/3 of the consignment value. So, $160-225 is pretty good! I was expecting at the minimum $100. What a joke. I was offered, $70 !!! Um, no thank you! You price your designer denims at $25 - 60 bucks! Minimum payout for high demand excellent quality designer denims if they are selling it at that price should be between 8.50-20 a pair! Rip off! I would rather sell it myself and skip the ridiculousness!

I dont even want to give them one star but I have to rate them somehow. I am soooooo disappointed in their service and how much they are willing to pay out for your items. I bought in four used/new dresses and two pairs of shoes that were worn once or new. Most were brand names and was high quality. My stuff, all together was $300+ but they had the nerve to offer me $17.00 for everything! I was furious and told them NO! They were not going to get my clothes that is worth way more. Never take brand name clothes and new clothes there. They had really old/outdated fashion on the rack. My dresses and shoes was the nicest in the store but they were only offering a measly 17.00 for it. I wasted my time to go there!

The staff acts like they dont even want you in their store, even when you spend a significant amount of money. I have better places to spend my money.
