I bought my wedding and bridesmaids dresses at this shop, and I love the variety of styles available. I saved 15% (almost $100) by buying my dress off the floor instead of ordering it. The staff is very knowledgeable, and they (for the most part) go out of their way to make sure everything is in place. The only problem I ever had was on my first visit. I had called ahead and made an appointment, but when I arrived, all of the dressing rooms were taken by other brides. (Im from out of town, so it wasnt really practical to leave and come back when there were less people.) I was a little irritated that it took so long for the staff to even acknowledge that I was there looking at the dresses, and when I told her that Id made an appointment to try on dresses, she informed me that all of the rooms were taken, but I could try on dresses in the back. She led me to a makeshift dressing room where a curtain was stretched across the extra dresses. I was not delighted that I had called ahead only to be presented with a 2 x 3 "room" for squeezing into bulky dresses. I hope they were glad that I wasnt a "bridezilla".

I went to several boutiques in Iowa and was very impressed by Bridal Dreams. They have a large store with a great selection of bridal gowns in different sizes. The store also has separate locations near eachother at the town square for prom vs wedding, which is nice because it prevented the bridal portion from getting overly crowded during prom season. The staff at Bridal Dreams was excellent and one of the best I have worked with. I had Pam as my consultant and would highly recommend her. She is very receptive to what the bride is looking for for a dress and does a great job of finding a dress that fits your wishes. She is very enthusiastic about helping you out and makes the experience fun! I drove a few extra miles to check out this store and can tell you that it is worth the drive from the Des Moines area to check out, you won t be disappointed!!!

I was trying to order a dress for my dads wedding over the phone and now I will never go back to Bridal Dreams. I was talking to the woman and she is insisting that I am a size 16 per the measurements that I provided to her. I tried explaining that my wedding dress from 5 months ago, that still fits, is a size 10. She said that is fine but they are not liable if it doesnt fit. I said okay, order the 16 then and she HANGS UP on me. So I call back. I get another woman and tell her that I was hung up on while trying to order a dress. She says, no you hung up on her and then proceeds to put me on hold and transfer me back to the woman that hung up on me. This is literally the worst customer service I have ever had. I will never do business here again, I will never recommend it and I will always stear people away from this shop.

I came to Bridal Dreams for both my Junior and Senior prom. I went to different stores (like Staceys Prom) before coming to Bridal Dreams. They other stores were rude and pushy, but not Bridal Dreams. They help you find a dress that is right for you and your budget. The ladies there are extremely kind. They really make you feel special. I recently got engaged and will definitely go to Bridal Dreams for my wedding dress.

My friends and I just went in there to look for some dresses. We found dresses we loved, but the customer service was awful. They pushed us to the back of the store so we could "change together" yet there was 3 opened in the front. They also only paid attention to the girls who came in after us. While we left, they gave us dirty looks.
