Employees who are so arrogant and with zero knowledge; doesnt even know the Walmart policies! I used the self check out lane and didnt get my receipt. Reported to the young lady standing over there and she said that she cant do anything since the person behind me already scanned their items in the same machine. So I asked what I am supposed to do and got the reply " I cant print the receipt" without even looking on my face and continued chatting with other people. I asked, will Customer Service" will be able to help me and then she said yes I have to go there. Lady (Erica Douglas) at the Customer service said she cant do anything and I have to go back to the self check out counters lady again!! I told she said she cant do anything. I said, I need to return and buy back the same items so that I will get a receipt. She said its impossible and after a long argument, she called the manager. Waited for a long time, the manager showed up. He said he needs my credit cards last 4 digits in order to identify the purchase in the system and it will take time so I should wait. WHAT???? I told him, According to "Walmart Return Policy", if the consumer doesnt have receipt, a store card will be issued for the same amount. Why they cant do that so that I can return n repurchase the same items and will get a receipt also by doing so. Then he said "Yea it will work". Are you kidding me?? A customer has to teach the "store manager" about the easiest way to return the items and get a receipt. Miss Erica seemed to be embarrassed and I think either she didnt get the memo about the training session where they teach the polices or Walmarts hiring team is the worst. Bottomline: If you want to meet the worst management in the Walmarts chain, Welcome to West St. Paul Walmart.

Went to get an oil and filter change there 12 days ago. Yesterday my car just died on me so I got a brand new battery, still didnt start. When the guy checked my car, he said that the starter was all covered with oil and burned. So, I got a new one. And surprise, surprise, when hes changing it, he noticed EVERYTHING in there is covered with oil. So, walmart either, didnt drained it properly, or didnt close the tank properly, or plain and simple, BROKE IT!! So, I decide to call Walmart to submit a claim, consider all the $$ Im already spending on this, had to call 4 times, almost 25 and FINALLY Ahmed, who identified himself as "the manager", said "OK " when I explain to him that I had to wait that long to even get a manager on the phone. Of course I said that it wasnt OK, and he said "OK mam, how can I help u", completely ignoring my waiting. I tried to explain to him a few times that "NO, ITS NO OK" and asked for Walmarts costumer service number which he gave me, with an attitude, of course, and after I asked for his name, TWICE, he said, " you have a nice day" and hung up. I called costumer service and now I have to wait up to 3 WHOLE DAYS for a call back. To make things even better, by the time Im done with costumer service on the phone, Im in their parking lot because I need to pick up some stuff, and walked in through tires (always do because of parking convenience), and see Amehd talking to Tia (cashier) about my phone call. Now I guess I have no option but to wait and see my car getting more and more damage. This is just beyond ridiculous, I need my car to work, I cant afford another car, and its not my fault the messed my car up. cmon

This Walmart sucks!! If I could I would give it a negative 1 or -0! The end of this month will be a year that Ive been working for Walmart and within this year they have kept me at self check every single day! I just recently started over at the pharmacy area working for OTC and the third day of me working there the department manager Deb we got into it because of her saying to me that if I need you in a different department I can pull you! Well my manager over the pharmacy plus the OTC manager told me that theyre not supposed to do that plus the store manager Craig is telling me one thing the department manager over OTC Brandon is telling me one thing that HR manager is telling me one thing so 5 billion people were telling me a whole bunch of different things and by far this is the worst Wal-Mart to work at, very unprofessional department managers or managers period! Manager tells you to go cover someones break another system manager tells you to go do this another manager tells you to go do that theyre very unprofessional unorganized they dont know what theyre doing! CSM managers had been very rude and disrespectful to the customers customers have been very rude to the cashiers old employees that work here and the managers do nothing! I have been called the B word, n*****, spit on and managers have done nothing!!! For the Love of humanity do not just me but all of us a favor and never stop for groceries food or anything Inver Grove Heights Walmart or any other Walmart besides this was some other Wal-Mart please dont go to it! And yes I am a worker at this Walmart and dont plan to be any longer!!

The products are great, service, and atmosphere continue to decline. They have police vehicles stationed outside the store and on staff inside the store same as Ive seen at other Urban and Suburban Walmart Stores. However we recently visited Hastings (same county) Walmart superstore and they do not have police presence nor people of color. This was also true for Oak Park Heights Walmart superstore. As far as comparable stores in west st paul, none of them have police presence. Its a decent store but is it decent company if there are only police stationed within locations where there is a concentration of citizens of color? For me its an unfortunate example of big business mistreating the very consumers and employees making it profitable. "Here for your business, your money, your labor, but not for you." Consumers and employers shouldnt have to be accosted with this negative message while they are simply doing right and living life like everyone else. I dont care how low the prices were or the convenience of my visit. Walmart has made race an issue for consumers. Im conscious of message theyve used to do that, it is impossible for me to give that experience a high grade.

Ive been going to the Robert Street Walmart since Jan. 2016 because I had moved closer to this location. So far I like it, shopping for me is convenient. I can get 95% of my shopping (groceries, household items & toiletries) here in one trip. I shop as early in the day as possible......as soon as the store opens & Im out of there in about an hour. My shopping experience at Robert Street Walmart has been good because: I never shop the day before or the day of a major holiday & no shopping on Sun. and Sat., I check the expiration dates on all food items, I never stand in line behind someone with a cart loaded to the top of it with items, and most of all I arrive at the store when it opens. One thing Walmart does need to do is hire more cashiers! Why they have 10 - 15 checkout lanes & 3 - 5 cashiers is annoying & a big wtf? (I remember when Walmart had a TV commercial (about 25 yrs. ago) that stated there would "never be no more than 3 customers in a checkout lane ..... and if there was another lane would open up" thus saving the customer time from standing in a long line. Walmarts marketing slogan had a very short life span!
