Once they found out I was a republican the young white guy in a flat brim baseball cal with a beard ,as he was serving me said "yelled all rightwingers are evil!" in front of a whole bunch of customers just out of the blue and Ivan did nothing thats how they treat customers,they didnt mind my rightwinger money that pays for their salary. He also called Catholics mass murderers on another occasion because of the crusades he was reading the Da vinci code,I complemented him that its good to see young folks reading than he talks loudly almost yelling going off on how Catholics killed 6 million people,than I told him it never happened than he went off on me in front of everyone again Ivan said nothing. These attacks come out of nowhere once they found out I was a conservative,because I have pins and badges on my book bag that imply that I am. at first we had a good discussion I talk about why beer prices were going up,I suggested who was behind it since then they been disrespectful every time they see me. The other white guy who works there with a scruffy beard, I was talking about construction of which I did for 25 years all of the sudden he goes off on Reagan. They do it for S#!T&giggles. Now when I go there even though Im 58 yrs old and native American and had been going there for 2 years they all of the sudden start carding me Ivan said its the new law,my friend who went there when he came back he said they never carded him,whos white.if your a republican,conservative and a Catholic maybe even Native American dont go there they are a bunch of bigots. I take my business elsewhere.Ivan was trying to sell me silver dollars that he got from some drunk in which he traded for liquor I knew the guy who gave Ivan those silver dollars through a friend it turns out those coins were stolen and he was selling them right inside the liquor store which is illegal. on several occasions I bought a six pack and they charge me for it twice and if I never check my banking statement I would had never caught it,he didnt believe me so he made me bring down my bank statement,even than he told me to wait several days until it clears I told him Im not waiting for money that you took it belongs to me "pay up",he never apologized he just said "that happens sometimes" non nonchalantly which is criminal. He has no respect for the customers there was only one guy who was cool and he left.These are facts if you go there make sure you check your bank statement or maybe they thought it would be cool just to take from me because of my beliefs. So if your conservative catholic just let it be known they hate you at Metro Liquors.I take my business elsewhere.

This business is rotten to their core. My husband and I went to this liquor store to purchase 3 bottles of Arbor Mist at $9.99 for the New Year holiday (12-31-12) and was charged an extra $42.43 and when we brought it to their attention they refused to fix their mistake even after BEN "PATRON" apologized for over charging us. "We were told by the owners wife or girlfriend it was nothing she could do; to try going to our bank and getting our money back." My husband is sick with lung cancer and has been in and out of the hospital because of their actions.

Well for the people that have posted i have not had any problems with customer service however prices are somewhat different but at the sometime its a business they run a legit buisness i would like to see them gain more selections but for rating the buisness i give it a five star the everyday customers are treated well be customers get help when needed without being rude people think people are rude but really all that person did was follow the rules of the business so great job

Lots of people go to the liquor store, I get to go to MY liquor store. Friendly staff, in my neighborhood, and has almost everything I want, including a respectable craft beer selection. Definitely a smaller vendor, but understands what that is supposed to mean as a small business.
