My sisters status after leaving there, my impression "if you know me personally you know that I get real nervous in certain situations and being on University is one of them. However I needed a light bulb for my car and the Auto Zone in Rosemount didnt have it so they sent me to freaking Saint Paul to get it. Right then and there, I started having a panic attack cuz me no likey University. I get to Auto Zone and attempted to run in and get back to my car. Well needless to say, it didnt go as planned! The cashier told me he was getting a divorce soon and was looking for a friend! Then the man behind me was like "damn where you from". Then I get blocked in the parking lot by a van with about 4 dudes trying to make small talk and get my number! I just wanted a damn bulb for my car guys. And they think I aint from here. I knows what goes on in these streets, mama bear just stays to herself! Damn you Rosemount Auto zone!!" Im laughing hard tho lol

Needed an AC/Heater blower for my 2005 Pontiac Vibe and the guy at the St Paul Store on University ave helped me find the right one I needed. He said he didnt have it in stock but he could have it sent to my house overnight. I went ahead and paid for it and to my amazement the thing was sitting at my door the very next day after I got home from work. Holy cow this thing came overnight from Memphis TN and I paid regular price with tax. Sure I couldve of gotten a cheaper one from Amazon but even then Amazon cant get stuff here that quick without paying much more with overnight freight. Personally I try to avoid Amazon as much as I can, Id rather support local business that I can take back if I have an issue and deal with a real person behind the counter. Installed the new motor in about 15 min and it works just fine. Thank you!

Went in to get my "engine check light" checked and the autozone guy plugged in the ODB2 scan device and turn on my car and pressed a button. What he did was erased any code before it was detected. He thought I didnt know, but I was well aware of the situation. The guy said sometimes the engine check light turns on/off by itself. Thought he could lie to me. Now I have to wait for my engine check light to come back on. Really bad service. Perfer ORielly or PepBoys. I been to two other location also and been turn down both times. ORielly & Pepboys makes it much simpler.

These people know what theyre talking about. The lady saved me some money and came out and changed my battery for me in 0 degree weather (without me asking). The guy knew exactly what size of ratchet to use for my car off the top of his head. Second time going to AutoZone and second time getting good customer service. This location in particular were good people.

Ive regularly received good help and advice from this location. Occasionally they get bogged down with customers and you end up waiting just to buy engine oil for instance. Looking up the part number online beforehand helps speed things up.

They dont have time for you. I waited 20 minutes to ask for a part and nobody even acknowledged my presence. I walked over to OReilly across the street and got what I needed right away.
