Ive been going to Johnson & Sons on Grand for over 5 years at least 4-5 times a year... Last week when I was there, I needed a dozen roses for my anniversary. There were 4 different dozen of red roses in the cooler room. However, when I counted the roses in each dozen, it only summed up to 10-11 for each dozen. I figured that maybe the missing roses were stuck in between each others so my count was off. When I got home, after arranging them I realized there were only 11. I called immediately and addressed the issue, asked the rep who picked up the phone to recount the rest in the cooler room. And I am sure they came up short for her as well. Disappointed and frustrated as I was, the rep offered that I can either take the flowers back or they can give me a $3.00 discount off my $21.51 for a dozen roses with 4 ferns and NO babys breath. I was 1 hour away so I just took the $3.00 off... If you are the in the twin cities and want to get roses. Go to cubs. Theyre fresh, beautiful, come with ferns and babys breath, only $14.99, and ARE ALWAYS 12 in a Dozen. ______________________________________________________________ Two years ago, I also bought a bouquet marked $19.99 at the same location. But when Johnson rang me up, they said the tag was wrong, it was supposed to be $25.99. I didnt say anything but that also left a bitter taste.

I have lived in the St. Paul area for the last ten years or so, and I cant believe today was the first time I went into this store. I dont buy flowers often, just for the standard occasions, but that might change. I usually cant stand being bothered by sales people, but I wanted to get something for my girlfriend for Valentines Day that was special as well both be working on the actual day of. I started browsing the pre-arranged vases they had on display, and when I was asked if I was finding everything ok I inquired if what was out was all that was available. Within five minutes the extremely helpful woman working the front counter had helped me pick a few different types of flowers and fillers from the huge walk-in cooler and create something that felt more unique. (And was cheaper than a lot of the pre-arranged options!) Obviously the customer experience is something that comes first to this family owned landmark on Grand Ave, I can see why theyve been open for almost a century. I know Ill be back. Skip the Floweramas and Grocery store floral arrangements, here you get a lot more for your money and support small business.

Recently moved to Saint Paul from Denver and needed a new go-to florist. A Johnson & Sons was conveniently close to my apartment, and I went there first. Thanks to exceptional customer service, absolutely beautiful arrangements, and last-second order fulfillment, I havent gone anywhere else for flowers after living here for 6 months. On one occasion, at the counter they noticed that they accidentally gave me a nicer and more elaborate bouquet than the price window I asked for on a same-day pick up bouquet. They graciously asked me to keep it. Whether or not that was a customer service stunt, I appreciate it. Johnson & Sons are a great locally owned florist with exceptional flowers, and I plan on being a loyal customer until further notice.

Worst customer service EVER!!! Specifically requested to have flowers sent between hours of 3:30pm-5:30pm. This did not happen. Delivery person dropped off flowers at housing manager at 1:18pm. Wife will not be receiving any Valentine roses until tomorrow, if they dont die. Wasted $14 on special deliver for Valentines and will not be receiving flowers until tomorrow. It pains even more when customer service on phone is like..."uh". At least fucken say SORRY. I know you guys are busy due to the holiday but show a little respect to those who wont be getting their orders on time because delivery was rushed.

I had a last minute delivery I forgot about (girlfriends birthday-I know, men, right?) and I ordered it last night to go to her school. I called today and checked up on the delivery and the lady was very helpful, she seemed a little rushed but I assume that comes with being such an awesome flower shop. The flowers arrived earlier than expected and my lady said that they were, "the most beautiful roses shes ever been given." Thats quite the statement, I cant really write a lot about their customer service just because I ordered them online, but the product is 5 star worthy! Will be using them again!

The flowers I ordered for our daughters wedding were beautiful. The designer, Jeanne was easy to work with, made some great suggestions to keep the flowers within our budget but matching what we wanted. I shared some pictures with her and the flowers met my expectations and matched the photos. The best part was Kathy, who came from home on a Sunday to unlock the store and get out flowers for us so that they would be fresh and ready to for a holiday weekend. She even took pictures of my college friends and me picking up the flowers! Such service. I would highly recommend them!

I ordered some balloons for a co-workers birthday. I requested delivery by 3:00pm the next day. The delivery order had this time noted on the note. The order was delivered at 3:55pm (five minutes before she left) only after I called to cancel the order. So, she got the balloons for 5 minutes on her birthday. They took the $50 order without a problem. The delivery person said he was late as he was on the other side of town (not my problem). I requested a partial refund--have yet to hear anything.

I was unable to attend my Grandmothers funeral recently since I live across the country. I found A Johnson & Sons online and decided to order some flowers for her service through them. I accidentally gave the wrong address with my online order, so I called the shop directly to change the delivery. The woman was very helpful and kind and the flowers were delivered to the correct location on time. My family said that the flowers were exquisite! Thank you so much!

I went in yesterday to pick up flowers for my organizations fundraiser and the roses and daisy mums were beautiful. They were exactly what we needed and I received a lot of compliments from our guests about our centerpieces. My husband and 3 year old went with me to pick up the flowers and we had a great time at the Open House. The employees were so friendly and the store itself is quite charming. Thanks for the beautiful flowers and a fun experience thrown in!

I ordered my wedding flowers from A. Johnson & Sons Florist and they turned out beautiful! Jill was the designer that I worked with and she was so helpful keeping me updated and what was needed from my end. Jill also respected my budget and offered different solutions to help keep costs low! (Like renting the lily bowls!) Guests were complementing the centerpieces and bouquets all night long! Thank you A Johnson & Sons and Jill for the perfect wedding flowers.
