Regular L/B customer but at other locations. Found myself in the area and stopped to pick up a couple things from the deli. Staff not as friendly as other locations. Asked about ingredients in a particular salad for a person with nut allergies. A couple older women were behind the counter. The first one asked the other if she knew. Her response after a long pause was "well Id give it a real good look". Seriously?!? The first lady asked if the other knew where the book with ingredients was. Her response was that she hadnt seen it in a real long time. This whole time she was leaning on the counter doing nothing. While the first woman was looking for the book, I said to the second woman that "while shes looking, I know Id like a pint of the broccoli salad." She responded by telling me that the first woman would help me with my order and then walked to the other end of the deli and leaned on that counter. There were no other customers at the deli at this time and there were at least 4 or 5 women working in the deli at the time. I was so surprised at the poor customer service. So unlike all the other locations! Needless to say, Ill stick to the L/B locations in Eagan, Highland and Edina where the service is AWESOME. Especially Eagan--theyre always so friendly! I should add that the one lady was trying to be helpful, and was in the end, so not all bad.

A quick story to share today of how Byerlys went above and beyond and PROVED they are the best: My grandma, at nearly 92, passed away today, and the comment she made that cracked all of us up is that she only wished she could make it to Byerlys in Roseville, MN, one more time. She loved to grocery shop and basically lived off the deli and bakery offerings! As my family stayed at her home today, my aunt decided to see if Byerlys catering could bring over food for the waiting family members. We didnt know that Byerlys catering was for a much bigger scale than our small family. After finding out the situation, Ken Atzmiller, the grocery manager at the Roseville store, personally pulled together food for our entire family and drove it over, on his own time, to deliver to us, in his Silverado pickup truck! He also brought over a gorgeous bouquet, and wouldnt accept a tip despite the fact that he had gone above and beyond for us. We are SO appreciative of how Byerlys went the extra mile for our family today...just like they always do! Thats what makes Byerlys special...Minnesota nice in any situation!

There are some great things about Byerlys... It is our long-time home-town grocery store, serving us for many years. I can tell that the staff is not very happy working there. But staff, why not take a positive approach? Be happy because you choose to be, or be happy going elsewhere. Byerlys offers you a job with decent pay. The rest is up to you. It is your job to great the customer with a smile. We customers are not there to cheer you up. But about those homemade soups. My gosh, the Wild Rice With Ham, and New England Clam Chowder; what exactly is that you call clam and ham? You have to swallow it whole as it is too tough to chew. I bought a bunch of those at the $2.00 deal, tried one of each and threw the rest away. Anyway, Ill keep coming back and skip the soups, and just hope that each staff member finds happiness.

Have been shopping there since 2006 and all experiences have been excellent. Great meat department, bakery and deli. Excellent fruits and veg. Excellent delivery service. Courteous staff. Clean attractive store. Even the flower area is beautifully done. Great drive thru service for regular checkout and online orders. Love the post office service. Shopping at Byerlys Roseville is a pleasure not a chore.

I give this a 1 star because if Im going to pay over premium price dry aged steaks, I expect to be treated a lot better. What a joke this place is and nothing more then wannabe butchers that cant properly cut a tenderloin or dont want to cut portion sizes (thats right, the guy told me to do it myself if I want two 8oz portions). Ever since then I havent bought one single piece of meat at this place.

It sure would be nice to get service in a decent amount of time here. It takes the staff forever to help u when your at the deli counter. They have time to chit chat and move kinda slow. Ive been told I need to take a number when no one else is at the deli counter and sometimes when it is busy people that dont take a number get helped before me... even though I take a number. Very unprofessional.

i go to the grocery stores in my home town where sells a box of serials for $5. They greet you, ask you if you find everything. I don’t mind paying extra for the service, but at Byerlys customer service is non-existent. Also how come the deli guy makes every effort to over-pack the container I ordered to make extra a buck or two? It is sad for me to watch.

I love shopping at Lunds & Byerlys. They especially have high quality produce. This location among others sell pre-prepped produce to make cooking more convenient. I also like this particular location because they offer organics recycling on food scraps and leftovers. Great job closing the solid waste loop!

Best grocery one ever been to. The fried chicken is good The rotisserie chicken is good The wild rice soup... Unbelievable. The produce was always good and the people were great. Bakery section was pbenominal. Frozen crab was great too. Better than whole foods.

The meat and salad department must have been short staffed today. I received the worst service there that Ive ever received. The staff were not friendly and seemed overwhelmed, and I was treated with disrespect. I will not be buying my meat and salad there again.

Lunds & Byerlys is always the best grocery store. Freshest produce and meat market. Anything thats not in a package is reasonably priced but if youre looking just for a box of cereal that you can get anywhere, best to go to walmart.

Not happy today but dont think there was anyway to avoid this: bought two beautiful lemons yesterday, cut into one and it was moldy inside...outside PERFECT. Maybe the growing cycle got screwed up? Usually a happy customer.

This place has an excellent selection of groceries plus grab and go foods for lunch and dinner. Besides a superb deli, bakery, and "lunch counter like" hot foods, there is also a sit down restaurant.

Expensive. Its okay, but please exercise caution when getting pre made foods. I was in the hospital from some Chinese food packed with msg. Not all labels are the truth.. Or put on the right foods.

Its unique, but pricey. The quality of the stock they have is good but they dont have everything. Bobs Produce is a much better store for fruits and vegetables.

Great selection, even some harder to find items. The deli area can get cramped during busy times. Take a shortcut around the backside of the cheese counter.
