Pretty sweet experience. One guy got a case and it opened up on him, but staff quickly helped take care of it. Grabbed another case and the cans went rolling away again. It was not his best day but the staff helped him promptly and turned it into a funny story for him to tell instead. Good selection of liquor and beer at pretty good prices for the cities. Samples are great as well. Were very helpful in picking out gifts and shared their knowledge of the spirits with us to make sure we got what we wanted.

Parking can be a bit tight (especially after work on a Friday), but once you get inside its well worth it. Friendly, knowledgeable staff plus a huge variety of anything you could want (especially wines). Whenever were pondering something for more than a minute or two, someone drops by to ask if they can help. Bonus: The owner saw my husband and I pull in to the lot about 20 mins after they closed (our fault, we should have checked their hours), so he let us in and rang us up himself. Very impressed!

They are awesome!!! Amazing selections of wines. They do wine tastings often. Really knowledgeable, helpful staff. Granted some of the younger staff that works the check out isnt always in the know, they always have more seasoned staff on hand if you ask. As for parking - it is a tight lot, but they have their own traffic light, so isnt that bad. And Ive used their bathroom plenty of times! Just depends on who you ask (or maybe how you ask??)

Used to be a great liquor store but recently decided to misinform loyal customers and play favorites with allocated bottles. Will no longer be getting my business after telling me everyone would get an email with opportunity to join their limited whiskey tasting event. Just learned they did not do that and manager refused to explain why they "changed their methodology" in determining who was emailed the opportunity to purchase ticket to the event.

I dont even need to tell you how great this place is if you have been here. For everyone else, it is a crazy great place. You can find almost any craft beer and taste any type for scotch you want before you buy it. Win win for me. Thank for existing on planet Earth South Lyndale Liquors! P.S. They have a reward program. Every time you reach $250 of sending they give you $10 to spend or save up in your account.

I have placed several online orders with South Lyndale and each time I have been very pleased. Their pricing is excellent with very fast shipping. More importantly, the private barrel whiskies the store chooses that I have ordered have all been excellent and fun to try. Thanks for offering excellent products at very fair pricing. This is a great place to shop for liquor. Outstanding selection of beer and whisky, which is what I normally shop for. Great selection of other spirits as well. They offer sampling of whisky and other drinks, you only have to ask, and there is usually some promotional tasting going on as well. Staff is super helpful. There are other liquor stores, perhaps fancier looking, but I prefer this one by far.

Great selection and helpful people. Even if it wasnt the closest liquor store to my house, I would still go here. Rewards program is pretty nice, for the occasional cash back. The only "bad" thing about this store is the parking, and they do make the effort to make that less painful by having someone outside moving people along. Try to go during off-peak times for the best parking situation.

Usually this place is fine. but recently there was a racism problem they had with my boyfriend. His name is Jake and hes African American. The cashier didnt believe it was him because of his name & how the ID is on the older side. The manger got involved & cleared him because its obviously him! Then she tried to laugh it off like we didnt catch on to her stereotype.

Great liquor store! Huge selection of different liquor and.... And.... And to make it even better, they have bottles for sampling inside the store! This is such a great thing to be able to offer! The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The pricing can be be a little up or down compared to other locations in the area, so make sure you down overspend!

I received a case of beer as a birthday/fathers day gift. My Daughter had requested a special favor from Peyton (sp), to provide me 24 different beers but of the ale/amber/brown categories and he came through in flying colors. Packaging was perfectly done. Fantastic collection of microbrews etc and so far ALL are excellent. Thanks so much!

Dan Campo, the Proprietor, is a true professional. He came to my rescue about an hour before a grad party I was throwing and saved the day! I called him with a concern ON HIS DAY OFF and he was at my home very quickly. He was pleasant, professional and helped make the grad party a success! I cannot recommend South Lyndale Liquors enough!

If youre into cocktails, this is by far the best liquor store in the Twin Cities. South Lyndale has an incredible variety of whisky, gin, bitters, amari, and liqueurs, better than any Ive seen in the metro. The prices are reasonable, and the staff are always very friendly and helpful. I only wish it was closer to my place!

What can you say about a business that tells its customer that you cant use their bathroom after you buy $200 worth of merchandise and you are in a tight spot? No is the wrong answer, especially when delivered with a snotty tone and/or not prefaced by an apology. They wont get another dime of my business.

Extensive selection of Bourbon, Scotch, Rye... actually whiskey of all types. One of the 2-3 best in the Twin Cities. They often have some harder to find items. They also run some nice dinner events and tastings. Prices are also among the best. Staff can be somewhat indifferent, but generally courtious.

I got 2 kegs from South Lyndale for my wedding. One of the kegs turned out to be bad. They were super apologetic and initially offered to drive to my location to figure out the problem. After I got the keg to them they discovered it was bad and traded it out for a Summit EPA. Awesome service!

I can no longer recommend this establishment due to their speaking out of turn for their customers with regards to Sunday sales. They have a wonderful shop and a very good selection, but to come out and say "our customers have never asked for Sunday sales!" Did you ask your customers?

Hands down, the best liquor store in the twin cities. Amazing wine and beer selection. A good amount of each is refridgerated. Great liquor options and a staff that knows what theyre talking about. Plus, theyve got a cool members program that gives a solid discount every so often.

My favorite liquor store in all the Midwest by far. Huge wine selection, awesome craft beers and even the occasional liquor tasting. I love that I can bring the pup in, the staff always gives him a treat. The parking lot gets a little crazy during busy times, so plan accordingly.
