Horrible customer service. I sent my iPod in to get fixed and they stated that it was a simple fix that would take 20 minutes, I figured I would just drop it off and pick it up in a day or two max, I was very wrong. First I couldnt even leave me iPod with them because they didnt have any release forms available, so I was told I would receive a call when they found the form. Two days later I drop by figuring that surely 48 hours is more than enough time to find a form on a computer, and I was wrong. I waited nearly 20 minutes while one of the guys was joking around with a customer after completing the transaction as there were 3 other people in line. I left, and called and asked what the deal was, they stated that if I brought it in they would take it. So I went back dropped off my iPod and was told that I would be contacted the next day about whether my iPod was done or the progress that was going on with it. I heard nothing until I called them 3 days later, they stated that their guy who fixes all the electronics quit so they were a bit behind. Ok thats fine I can handle that. I then went in 2 days after that thinking that my 20 minute fix would surely be done after a week of being there, I was wrong yet again. I was informed that my iPod was taken up to the cities and that the guy was probably working on it. I was NEVER informed of my iPod going up to the cities, (I had just been there over the weekend and would have taken it to a better place) I feel like this is something that needs to be told to people. Anyways I kept checking in over the next 3 weeks and my iPod was never there. Finally I called on Friday and again inquired about my iPod, they stated that it was still up in the cities and that they would just give me a new iPod to compensate for the amount of time it had been there, I informed them that I had songs, photos and other things on there and I didnt want it replaced I wanted it fixed. After becoming frustrated with them I told them to speak to their service guy as I wanted my iPod back, I went in two later (as they were supposed to call me when my iPod was in, and of course never did) and took my iPod back. So I was wasted 3.5 wks, my iPod was never even looked at, and to top it off I was offered store credit. I declined the store credit because I wont ever be going back. They only positive here is that I didnt pay any money towards this company. I cant say anything about the quality of the rest of the store but attempting to service any electronics here is pointless. It was honestly they most assbackwards, non-communicating customer service I have ever received. I will not be recommending anyone to service anything here. I would give it 0 stars if it was allowed. This is a truly a disappointing company.

I went in to we got game a couple days ago and started asking the owner about possible alternatives to poor quality aftermarket N64 controllers. The guy told me he had one in mind, he had it sent to his location the next day for me to check it out. He told me it was high quality controller and the best aftermarket one he has ever come across. He was absolutely right. I was very impressed with how good it was. That was not all I was impressed with. The guy was very knowledgeable with anything video game related to him I brought up. He exceeds standards when it comes to customer service and he is very reasonable when it comes to price. I could tell within the first two minutes of walking in the door that this guy knows his stuff, he wont turn you wrong, and he is very passionate about his job. I have never in my life had such a great experience at a game store until I walked into we got game (Mankato location). This place deserves five stars in my book. Very impressed.

I dont write reviews often, but this place has been genuinely horrible both times I have been in. My first visit to we got game, I enquired for a new game controller. After waiting for 30 minutes and being told to maybe stop in later, I was finally shown a well used, knock-off cheap brand controller which had been packaged into an oem product box. Not cool. The clerk said it was a return item. I walked out. I gave them a second chance when I stopped back again to see if they would be interested in buying some used games..just like what is for sale on their floor. I waited again for service, the owner making a game system repair and not willing to speak..and a clerk playing games not wanting to help. After the wait, the owner told me "those games arent any good, and they dont have my name on them anyways. We dont buy that." Bad customer service, very mean and unfriendly. Dont do it, dont even. Gamestop is a bad deal, but this puts the cherry on top.

I initially went to WeGotGame looking for a used first party Sony Dualshock4 or Xbox 360 controller for my PC. I was upsold a third party "Armor3" Playstation 4 controller instead after being told it works for pc and is very high quality, almost matching first party construction. When attempting to use the controller it failed to be recognized by my games. A quick google search shows the controller being poorly reviewed for both pc compatibility and construction quality. When attempting to return the controller, the same man who checked me out an hour ago decided to call the cops on me instead of honoring the stores return policy.

The owner is a complete jerk. Spent a half an hour working out a deal for 2 games and I made a fair offer. Drove all the way to the store to find out he had sold the two items to someone else without so much as a call. He also spent a half an hour telling me just how terrible his business was being run and that he couldnt afford to hire people to manage his stores. I guess thats why the Uptown location is now closed. I wouldnt recommend this place to any serious collectors. You can get better things on eBay for Less.

This is the best game store I have ever had the pleasure to visit! The employees are VERY helpful, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. The store carries a huge selection of games ranging from the Nentendo Entertainment System to Wii U and PS4. They also have some old game systems for sale and equipment for most games and systems.This store also buys your used games at a higher price than any other game store in Mankato, MN. This is my go-to store for gaming!

Was in the area so I thought I would check it out. I scrolled through each row of games. After realizing just about every game was higher than ebay I asked the individual working if they had any games on the rare side as there were a lot of Commons throughout the store. The owner stated that he sells all the rare sided games on ebay. This business is clearly poor in customer service and product I thought.
