I was helping my dad get a phone at walmart and the lady employee in the electronics was kind of rude... kristine. We told her what wed like to get and she said "oh.. well you could just grab that off the shelf." .. well she asked what wed like so we told her.... like really,?.. what kind of customer service is that. Dont work somewhere if ur not happy doing that job like honestly... but its whatever. She was rude but a little more nice towards the end when we left. She probbaly wanted us to leave. Ive never have a "not so good experience" at any walmart before. I dont even live out here. First time coming to this walmart. Not the experience that I expected. And when we went to check out another employee, Antoinette didnt greet us hi. Didnt even make eye contact. & Didnt say our total to us. Idk how much more rude this walmart can be. Worst experience at any walmart.. ever.

The only thing this Walmart has going for it is location. They dont deserve your money. This Walmart lacks the diversity needed to deal with the diverse customers that rely upon Walmart for their shopping needs. Shoppers and or potential customers of color are treated differently then the contemporary suburban guest. I witnessed this first hand, at the hands of a manager named Matthew. This is not just a bad review of Walmart because I was unable to use the services offered, but because my issue had not been an issue before and Im sure if not dealing with the two individuals that obviously felt they were better then me, only due to skin tone, in the future this would not happen. Walmart this is your chance to fix an obvious problem you have with management diversity, and guest relations.

This Walmart is in a very convenient location and the prices on non-grocery items are also decent when youre in a pinch. Otherwise I get the rest of electronics and autos stuff on Amazon or eBay. However, I have nothing else good to say about this particular Walmart. There are no check out lanes open ever, staff are always distracted by other staff, workers back by the hunting/fishing and autos area once thought I was stealing items, only because no one was standing at the checkout counter back there, so I figured I just pay upfront. This started a whole ordeal I dont want to talk about.

This Walmart Superstore is always clean and pleasant to shop in. Make no mistakes about it, its still a Walmart, so if you are looking for help, finding an employee that can help you competently (or even find an employee to help at all) can be difficult. So I never go there if I have questions or know I am going to need help. But as far as Walmart stores go, this is one of my top two favorites in the area. I visited last week and was pretty disappointed about how many items in the grocery area were out of stock though. I am not sure why? Thus, the four star rating.

I usually dont have any complaints about this Walmart I know they can be short staffed at times but my concern is that in the electronics department there is one fellow who is handicapped. Not that I have any problem with that because I absolutely adore him!! BUT he is usually the only one working back there. In electronics AND the photo department! All by himself! When it gets super busy back there he cant keep up with it. I myself have no problem waiting. But I cant stand that even though he called a manager for help 3 times! She responded she was on break.

Generally less busy than many other Walmarts in the Twin Cities that Ive been to. Being a Walmart Supercenter with a whole grocery section including fresh produce, this Walmart is a bit larger and therefore takes a little longer to get in and out when you only need one or two things, but it also makes this location one of the most complete retail experiences in Hastings. Love it or hate it, Walmart has everything.

I hate shopping. Really hate it. But theres something about this store... I cant stay away. I think its the 4 isles of random clearance stuff. The other day I got a fishing pole for like $7. Nothing wrong with it either. Also I can get everything in one stop. Potatoes..check. WD-40..check. Underwear...double check. Get it? Also there are a lot of people there, so watch out for that.

The only good thing about this place was the door greeter. She was the only one I could find after wanting to help a friend of mine get a perfume out of the locked cabinet. I asked her if she had a radio to just let someone know to meet me in the perfume area but of course she did not. Seriously Walmart?? Youre ridiculous and this is why I dont choose to shop at your stores.

My god what is wrong with this Walmart. Rude inconsiderate customer service. Sorry if Im bothering you. There was 5 people standing around (employees) as we were wiating to be help by costumer service. When we were finally helped they were slow and half asleep I think. I thought to myself they must be Union or something, how do these people keep there jobs.

This Wal-Mart is horrible. I sat waiting for someone to help me in jewelry for half an hour. Told 3 different employees I needed help at jewelry and after waiting for half an hourI decided to leave. not only did I get no service at jewelry but I had to wait another half an hour in line. worst service slowest lines Ive ever dealt with. Ill avoid this Walmart.

The automotive department are DUMBASS S!!!! They sold my wife the wrong size oil filter, I was changing the oil on our van and it wasnt the right oil filter....she tried to return it and they couldnt cause it had some oil on it. FU! Never using them as a automotive store again and you can kiss my ass!

I drive all the way from Inver Grove Heights just to go to the Hastings Walmart for my oil change. Theyre awesome group of people and even vacuum my car out when necessary. Coming from somebody who grew up at the mechanic, I recommend going to this place for any service that they provide.

Cannot keep shelves stocked consistantly. Horrible customer service by frontline staff. Managers are okay. Cashiers have no idea how to bag groceries. 9 out of 10 times will bag bananas with cold or frozen food. I realize it is difficult to hire staff in this area right now, but come on.

Horrible customer service. I really wish theyd move her somewhere else and put someone there that understands what customer service is and how to do it. Also had a poor experience when I called in. Shopping goes great if you can minimize your experience and interaction the employees.

Ive always had a good experience with customer service here and they have just about everything. Very convenient. Store is always clean, the checkout lanes can get backed up sometimes but theres almost always a self-checkout readily available if you need to get in and out quickly.

Went here to get my tires done at 7am when the auto part opens. I chose to come here because the other tire place in town couldnt get me into until 8am. Took 3 hours to get 4 tires put on right away when they open. Cant imagine how long it would have taken just randomly going in.
