I had always thought one of the benefits of going to a butcher shop like Von Hansons was to be able to have a more customized experience than your run of the mill grocery store. On a recent visit, I asked the employee if he could cut the meat extra thin for me for a special dish I was creating. He looked at me funny, thought about it, and proceeded to cut the chunk of meat with a knife. I couldve done that on my own at home. I figured they might have a special machine for such requests. He also seemed pretty annoyed with me. Next time, Ill just go to Byerlys or Kowalskis. Boo.

I was there Friday March 25 it was packed. I was greeted as I came in the door , waited a couple mins but was helped my a great women. Didnt catch her name unfortunately only thing I remember she had a face piercing and pig tails. She was so polite and helpful she even offered to take my things to my car since my hands were full with my little one. From start to finish she did an outstanding job didnt flinch or stress it was packed and still had the customers needs in mind! ! Thank you!

They handle the jerky without gloves! Friendly and quality service from "Dave" an employee. The employees have poor knowledge of the meets they get grain fed cows witch is not good Grass fed is better. Von Hansons Meats is a sanitary facility. Their pork & turkey jerky is delicious

Brutal Burn

Dont waste your money or meat. Just tried some goose sausage made by them, it was full of bones and injured my teeth and gums.. The owner wouldnt refund any money and you lose your meat. Buyer beware!!!! Im going straight to the BBB site from here.
