Finer is the only place I could get side pork (pork belly) for making bacon when I first found them. I was calling basically every butcher in the cities. The service is great. The people are nice. The meat is good and the prices competitive. I love them for all the unusual things I can get like side pork, beef sliced for jerky, unusual cuts. Full service butcher shops are a dying breed and I will cling to these guys forever!

An absolute throwback. Oldest continuous butcher shop in the Twin Cities, family-owned, and exactly the personable, friendly, caring touch youd expect. Good meat, great recommendations, and phenomenal store-made beef jerky as well as sausage,and even cold cuts. Also, very reasonable prices - much cheaper than Clanceys or Lunds, etc.. Support local and give this place a try.

Been there a handful of times during summer of 2012. Great for ribs of all types: beef, pork, short and baby. Way cheaper than other places (like Lunds or Clanceys), but still good quality meat. Friendly service too.

Just have to say that the braut I had from the Finer Meats food truck at the South High rally was the best one Ive ever had! Tops those I tried in New Ulm and from a food truck, no less. Wow!

Really good beef sticks, smoked bacon was great, but the steak was sub par. We bought ribeyes which were tough and not very flavorful.
