First Christmas in our new house was ruined due to purchasing carpet with free install from this location. The whole process has been a headache but the worst part has surely been the incompetence of the carpet installer. The measurements, agreement, and receipt all express that our home has infloor heat. I.e. Heated water lines in the floors... all of which I had marked with a black sharpie to ensure no damages were incurred. Home Depots contractor came out to install the carpet, 6 weeks after the carpet was paid for, and punctured 3 holes in our radiant floor heat lines. This occurred after the carpet pad was down and while they were stretching the carpet... for the carpet guys out there why would you staple the carpet in the middle of the room? They were not only informed from the paperwork but my fiancé had also reminded them when they arrived that there was infloor heat and that the markings on the floor showed where they were. Following puncturing the lines they continued to lay the carpet and only mentioned they had hit something when the water was already dripping into the basement. That happened on Dec. 1st, 2016. Fast forward nearly a month and our house is still in shambles, Home Depot has no idea what is going on, the contractor hasnt responded to phone calls, the insurance company that received the claim says it was incorrectly submitted by the contractor under their auto policy and that they may not have a commercial liability policy to cover the damages. As I mentioned Home Depot hasnt called or taken any proactive steps to ensure that we are being taken care of, which obviously we arent. This being our first home we were supposed to host our family Christmas... obviously that didnt happen because of this unfortunate ordeal. I would not recommend using Home Depot for your carpet needs unless you have 4-6 months before you expect the project to be completed. This has been an absolute joke. To not receive so much as a call, update, or apology through this whole process has been extremely disheartening. After spending over $15,000 with this store in the last 3 months while renovating I do believe Ill be taking my business to Menards. This terrible of service and blatant disregard for a customer is unacceptable in my opinion.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!! Carpet installers came out to our house today and were supposed replace carpet for the entire upstairs. Upon arrival, the installers were missing our master bedroom on their plan yet, had the closet! Why on earth would we just want the walk in closet done and not the actual room? So we called the Home Depot, spoke to Stephanie the project manager, and said this was "an error on their behalf" and we would have to wait an additional 2 months for the backordered carpet we need. We have been waiting for this install for 2 months already! They have the master bedroom on the initial plan and now its just gone. We talked to Sean, the manager, about this HUGE mix up and he replied "Welp you know this kind of stuff happens, you know computer glitches." Thats NOT the answer we wanted. We are now sitting in our living room surrounded by furniture and boxes that we hauled around in preparation for this install. Stephanie seemed so confused and said "oh my heavens, how did this happen!?" This is your "project manager". We had laminate installed through the Home Depot a month ago and there was also MAJOR confusion with the install. We are beyond frustrated and feel no compensation. We sent the installers on their way and cancelled the whole project. We called a local carpet company and they will help us get this done in 2 days rather than months. Please re-think your installation with the Home Depot.

After being in business for 14 years and purchasing almost all my products from home Depot i will be switching to menards from now on. I have never been disrespected or humiliated like i was with my most recent purchase at the Burnsville Home depot, after spending over $2000 on materials over the last week i went in for a couple boxes of drywall mud. We go through the line, pay for our purchase and proceed to the work van. At the back of the van about to open the door a lady starts yelling that we didnt pay and we were stealing. She continued to yell across the parking lot as she was walking out saying we needed to come back in and pay, i told her we paid and showed her the receipt and noticed all the people in the parking lot starring at us like we were criminals. I decided to go back in and make a complaint with the manager before he made it over the other cashier decided to start arguing with me that it was theyre job to check receipts. I walked out and called the manager, he offered me a percentage off of my next purchase only and thats all he could do. So now no longer will i be buy anything from home Depot neither will any of my sub contractors.

Order online had it sent to pro desk so I could go in and out. Went to pro desk couldnt find my order. Associate to me my order was at the guest desk without looking it up. I was able to ask associate to look up my order reluctantly.. He asked last name, I said Sung. He pulled a order from the back for Simmons. He went behind to grab another box, when I realized this order was not mine I told him it was not mine, he ignored me and grabbed 3 more boxes, each time I told him the order was not mine. He told me then that my order is not there and I would need to go to guest service. Pro desk was rude and unfriendly. Im never going back to this store and I dont need to.

Love going to Home Depot! Everyone is friendly, customer service is great, and everyone is knowledgeable. The deliveries department and the lumber department only have 2 guys in at a time. So if it takes more time to receive customer service, just be patient. They work really hard to get their work responsibilities done as well as helping out customers. Theres almost never a line at the checklanes and theres always someone to greet at the door. I love coming to this location to shop. I highly recommend it!

This location is fine if you need help finding something. There are plenty of employees offering to help. If however you just want to look around dont come here. Was going to buy a filter and while standing near the product reading some reviews finally gave up after the 4th employee asked if I needed help. Sometimes you have to just let customers browse without being bothered. Probably would have purchased the filter if the stores employees would have given me a little breathing room.

Wife and I stopped in to purchase new washer drier and dishwasher waited 20 min for someone to acknowledge us and at that point we were told the lady working appliances was busy and they would take our phone number and name down and call us when she was ready. I left and went to appliancesmart where I got the same items for $400 less dollars. Dont go to home depot if you have questions on anything.

We arrived after 8 on Saturday evening and despite the staff needing to bring in plants due to a freezing warning, Tom and the delivery team took the time to help us determine our needs for retaining wall block. They helped us find a great solution and set up delivery. Everyone was professional, helpful and made it a fun experience.
