12 years ago In Duluth I was refused a service by a cashier in Walmart.. Yesterday at menards in apple valley I was disrespected with a loud voice in front of my young kids just because I handed my credit card to her instead of swiping it my self. I tried to get if there is any enough reason to be treated that way but the cashier was still mad at me from her look. I was gonna see a manager but I dont want my kids to know I was being discriminated. Because I dont want them to grow with having a doubt of being discriminated.

For the most part I can find everything on my list at the store. My two main frustration are that many items available at stores further away are listed as special order at THIS store and that the quality of certain building materials tends to be lower than the same items at bigger stores with a larger count of the items. Example if I need a number of deck boards I am more likely not to find the right number with the fewest knots. If This Were to change I would give it 5 stars.

My favorite Menards store! Not too big. Well organized. Great prices! More stuff you actually expect to find in a hardware store. Less garbage than the bigger ones. I have to edit this review and knock it from a 5 to a 3 because I spent about $100 a day at this store for business supplies and they dont have any kind of rewards program or any way of appreciating regular customers like myself who spend lots of money. So I will be looking elsewhere unfortunately

This is always a last resort stop. I would rather shop at Lowes, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, anywhere else but here but when everyone else is out of stock unfortunately I have to come here. The employees are not helpful, they dont really care to help you problem-solve, and just lack enthusiasm about their job. They give up on helping you if they dont know the answer right away without trying or asking any co-workers.

Overall not very impressed. Staff is not very knowledgable and the store is pretty outdated. As a previous reviewer pointed out their plumbing department is in complete disarray. I pointed this out to a member of the their management team. Visiting them a week later showed the same issue. Id recommend going across the street...

Sometimes its hard to find staff, and the deals in their circulars are not always out on display - you may have to really go into the furthest reaches of the store for them. A lot of the brands are cheaper priced because they are cheaper quality, and the rebates are all mail-in and are typically for store credit, not cash back.

We have become "regulars" here and appreciate the helpful service and good value for your money. If you are looking for extra help from someone or advice for your project, visit the store on weekdays when its less busy. We rarely have to go somewhere else to get supplies because of the wide variety of products.

Menards Apple Valley, is an awesome store and it is well staffed. I have had help in many departments. They are considerate and go out of their way to make your shopping experience great. Menards has the best prices all the time and almost everything.

The associate that help us out, was so poor at customer service. She didnt know the store products and area. No smile, no way of making customers feel welcome and I spent $600 there. I guess their are not looking to help the company make some profit!!

Good products. I come here to buy landscaping supplies (rocks, mulch, etc.) And they always have them available. The people in the freight yard are usually pretty nice, but they arent very helpful (although some are willing to help you! )

Horrible customer service. Brought back two door handles with missing parts. Contacted Management and some young kid answered the phone and really didnt care. We will STOP going to Menards and take our business to Home Depot or Lowes.

Here all the time for my old house repairs. I can find almost anything in stock or it can be ordered. Compared to the other Menards its a bit of a cluster but the people that work there are awesome and knowledgeable.
