I was a regular customer until today. While browsing throughout the aisles I accidentally dropped a product. I placed the product on the shelf and made my way to the owner to get paper towels to clean it up. The owner disrespectfully called me a liar even after I told him I dropped the product. I offered to clean it up, and pay for the product I spilled. He refused to listen to what I had to say, and repeatedly say I was lying. I placed my items on the counter, he took them and put them behind the register and said "get out." I asked what was the reasoning and why I could not receive service. He then kept repeating "get out." He then said he would call the police on me. With me being a young African American female, in todays society that really would have not handle anything. I left the store, and my mother came in about 20 minutes later. He told my mother "Dont believe her," and told a completely different story than what actually happened. Moral of the story is, SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE YOU ARE RESPECTED. The owner disrespected me and violated my rights. I will no longer be a customer!

Customer service is poor! I purchased a blow dryer, because my previous blow dryer died so this was an emergency because I am a working hair stylist. Once I returned to the salon I attempt to use the new blow dryer and it began to smoke out of the back of it. I finished my client with a coworkers blow dryer and once finished with my client I return to New Image Beauty Supply. I was informed that because the blow dryer did not smoke when the cashier turned it on I could get no refund nor exchange nor store credit. I explained how I was not comfortable with using the blow dryer because of what happened at the salon. I was continuously denied any help other than contacting the manufacturer despite JUST purchasing the blow dryer maybe an hour or two early the same day. I have purchased MANY items from New Image Beauty Supply and have sent many clients to buy from this beauty supply as well as have purchased a very functional blow dryer prior to this incident. I will no longer patronize this beauty supply. And will inform clients not to either.

the store itself is grat but it would be nice to have some enjoyment from being customer, when i called to ask a time they close they hang up on me..i thought its ok maybe itgs just my phone been acting up. So i go there Iam looking around and i went with my friend ,she is black and iam white the sales people were asian and black guy..the asian person there racist, he was watching my friend like an eagle and i dont like that, i thought that was dumb and annoying but i didnt find out till the end.. i wouldnt go there anymore. theres onbe beauty supply very similar, just smaller , on washtenaw rd..its much better and its cheap too. hope this helps.

Walked in the store didnt even get a greeting let alone how can I help you. Walked around the store came back up front asked the lady for what I was looking for she had the nerve to tell me there is someone back there. Two customers in the store two employees in the store one was busy and yet she still didnt lift a finger. Will not go back. I prefer the one on Emerick anyway.

Horrible Costumer Service, business is not equipped for all cards with chips, when asked do you except cards with the chip, the answer is YES, but when you go to check out it only works on certain debit cards...I will never shop at this location again and will spread the word on how ignorant my experience was....

Inexpensive hair accessories, surprisingly quality make up, and the biggest selection of Adore hair dye Ive ever seen. Everyone is always friendly. They dont do a big deal of greeting you but I prefer it that way.

The only reason I shop here is because this is the only beauty supply in the Ann Arbor area. Ive only had one nice encounter with the staff. Products are overpriced.
