Long story short I had a older pair of glasses which needed updating after some wear and tear. I decided to spend a little more and get a better pair of glasses. At first i thought every was great. The exam and selecting a new frame. I went away happy with my choice. Though i was willing to spend a little more on a pair of glasses that not only were more sturdy but looked better, i had a budget i wanted to spend. The frames/glasses I selected just met that budget after I sat down and the sales associate when over my insurance. While waiting to pick up my glasses I did a search on the frames I picked and noticed how much cheaper I could have go them online. I still was under my budget so I didnt sweat it too much. Picked up my glasses and everything was great. Untill a few months later I was sent a bill for 60 dollars and a letter claiming I had exceeded the amount my insurance would cover and I must pay the balance. The sales associate had all my insurance information on their computer and claimed they double checked it and I was given and total to which I paid. I do believe I was sold additional services knowing I had a limit and it wasnt going to be covered. I wouldnt of got these otherwise. Once again, I had a certain amount I wanted to spend and I went over that cause they misquoted me what would really be the balance. I cant recommend a business that lies to its customers. Friendless only goes so far when you are also being dishonest in the process. If you go here beware of the bait and switch

Everybody at this office is so, so incredibly nice. I got my exam here and they definitely got me the right prescription, AND they dont have to do the eye puff for the glaucoma test because they have newer equipment that doesnt require that. They have quite a few frames to choose from. HOWEVER. Although I give the office itself a 5 star rating, I would not recommend buying from any office, period. The frame prices are very high compared to online. Expect most of them to be in the $190-$350 range. Even with insurance, very expensive. I always recommend buying glasses online IF you are willing to take the time to find measurements you like and search around. If youre not worried about that, Rx Optical is a wonderful choice.

They gave me wrong perscription for my contacts. I know what it should be (.25 difference between) and even if my eyes were worse they gave me same script for both eyes. The doctor was nice, but talked too much. My husband and I were seen together so she wasnt paying attention or mixed up script. I was only wearing one at a time so I could read as well as see far away. They gave me script for weaker eye so if I did wear both it made everything fuzzy. Or if I wore the wrong one in one eye it was fuzzy. They said I had to get used to it. I went to Americas best and they confirmed my suspicions ..... RX optical refused to admit their liability. Never again. I would not trust them with anything again.

The first lady who did my eye test was extraordinarily nice but the day I came to pick the glasses up they shut the door on us right as we were about to walk in at 4 oclock exactly. Very annoying and kind of a dick move!

Recently took my 5 year old daughter here for her first eye exam. Staff was efficient and friendly. The optamologist (sp?) was absolutely wonderful with her. Will definitely be returning to this location!
