I had two back to back terrible grooming experiences and Im very disappointed because now my dog is traumatized and has wounds all over him. I had made an appointment for a bath for my Siberian husky and was quickly rushed off the phone. I wanted a specific groomer and I still dont know who actually washed my dog the first time. My boyfriend dropped him off on Friday before Memorial Day and he was convinced on a $60 "deodorized dog" bath package, instead of our usual Furminator bath (no one even asked me what bath I wanted over the phone). Well, after picking my dog up from the $60 "deodorized dog" bath, he smelled absolutely dreadful and worse than when we took him in for his bath. Yes, loose fur happens after a bath but it legitimately felt like large clumps were coming off and that he wasnt even brushed. I called Petsmart, spoke to a manager named Ryan, and they offered to fix him the next day which was a Saturday. My dog was TERRIFIED of going with the grooming manager so that was a red flag. He is 8 years old and has been groomed at multiple Petsmart locations in Michigan and Virginia since he was 6 weeks old. After picking him up Saturday from the second bath, he clung to me and was terrified of me leaving his side, also a red flag because thats not normal, especially for an independent husky. I discovered wounds ALL OVER MY DOGS BODY, very large wounds at that from what appears to be someone taking a brush and physically DRAGGING it on his skin. The last person who touched my dog was the grooming manager. If the manager can be so abusive, I now question all other bathers and groomers. I will never again use this or any other Petsmart facility. The trust has been severely broken.

When I first came to this PetSmart to drop my dog off for the Doggie Hotel, I was so impressed. The staff seemed really attentative and the place was clean and inviting. As I was dropping my dog off for the Hotel, just for an overnight visit, I made it very clear she was to ONLY eat the food I brought her because she has a sensitive stomach and will get sick otherwise. The next day when I picked her up, the attendants told me she didnt enjoy her time and puked several times and didnt interact with any of the other dogs. They said she seemed lethargic. I was SO surprised because we bring her to dog parks all the time and leave her with other dog sitters and she ALWAYS does so well. Well once I got home I found in the bag they handed back to me that the food I had provided her to eat was still in the bag. They had fed her their food which I had specificly asked them not to. I even told the attendant she will get sick if she eats any other food. They basically had told me she wouldnt do well coming back because she got sick and didnt seem interested in the other dogs, when it was the attendant who didnt provide her the food I asked. Maybe next time I will just go with a local dog sitter. PetHotel isnt for us, or at least not this location.

I recommend only purchasing products from this Pet Smart. You can go to other places for better services on training and Daycare. I dont recommend the services. Classes are overbooked. Can never get a convenient grooming appointment. My puppies were denied Daycare. Three strikes...I am done. Signed my puppies up for a special Puppy Daycare service at an introductory price to try it out. It would have been considerate to receive an email reminder regarding the required shots every puppy needs to attend THEIR program. After forgetting to bring the required paperwork the first trip, my puppies were denied from the program because they didnt have a vaccine that PetSmart requires but vets do not give unless requested. How would I have known that information???? Oh wait...that information would have been helpful in a courtesy reminder email/call. I will be going to Petco more often now.

My every experience in this store has been very good. The store is of the smaller format but is always well stocked and very clean. I have found the staff to be very informative and friendly. When I entered the store, a manager(Nikki) greeted me at the door and asked how she could help me. I appreciated her help and the time she spent speaking to my son and daughter about the small animals. I have many co-workers who go to this store and we are all in agreement that it is way better than the other stores that are closer. Parking can be tight around rush hours.

Great deals, normal pet store. Go here for crickets for my lizard. Great fish tank selection that occasionally go on deals. Good freshwater fish selection. Not good for salt water enthusiasts such as myself. Mostly a cat/dog food and toy place. With freshwater fish and tanks and filters for freshwater. Kees Pets is the closest place for a great marine selection. Still a normal big box pet shop.

I took my little kitten to be groomed for her first groom. The staff recommended me to get the aromatherapy package to help calm her during her bath and she even got her teeth brushed. She came back smelling great and looking cute. I will definitely be bringing her back.

I like how large this PetSmart location is. Being this size I was still able to find everything I was looking for and more. Its not my usual PetSmart location, but when Im in the area I do like stopping in to pick up items for the "kids".

They good deals on food supplies and toys as well. Ive used Pet Hotel for couple times which was so nice as my pet loved staying there and of course the Banfield Pet Hospital which offers the best service. Dr Lerner is the best!

The customer service is terrible. When i walked in having a very small, and easy problem to fix, they did not want to handle the problem. I called a couple hours later to fix it, and I got hung up on in my face.

Always very pleasant there. We take pur dog here to be groomed. The staff really listens to our wants and makes them happen everytime. Doggie day care is also really well staffed with nice and joyful people.

Grooming staff was phenomenal. Very friendly and attentive and made me feel comfortable leaving my puppy in there care. I would recommend the mail trimming!
