The other day was the THIRD time in a row that I have visited this location and had an issue with their particular sale signage/prices. They put up big yellow signs saying SALE $7, above a rack with multiple items so naturally youd think that EVERYTHING on that rack is on sale for $7 since nothing is specified. Then go to check out and it rings up as $14, it takes the rude cashier woman forever to do a price check, then says its only one item on that rack, I ask her to work with me and give it to me for $7 and she refuses, even after I state that this is the THIRD time it has happened to me at this location alone! I worked in retail for years and it should be YOUR duty to work with the customer to satisfy them especially when your store is making false advertisements. Ridiculous, I will not be shopping at this meijer ever again.

Meijer on Gratiot has been my go to Grocery store for 20 years plus. My cashier was so rude today, throwing my vegetables and fruit into whatever bag. Putting bar soap with my fruits. Excuse me but I dont like my fruit and veggies tasting like Dove soap.. Poor customer service. Her name was Kenvae. I have never seen her before. Angry people like that should not work in Cosumer Service!!

I was in on 6/30/15 . A young lady by the name of Marletha checked me out. She was very friendly, yet very helpful and professional. I was Supv. in large Customer Service Dept. and know that I often received more complaints than I did good reviews. So far Ill have 30$ in free gas from grocery shopping saving the coupons for the pharmacy. I used it for my kids antibiotics they gave me $20 free gas. It just looked like a coupon so dont throw it away. When I went to get my gas the guy at the front counter did not know about the coupons with the free gas....but we got it figured out. I downloaded the Meijer app and it helped a lot

I have been going to the store for 17 years, even after moving to the other side of town where there is a closer Meijer store. This is always clean, fresh, efficient, returns are easy, and cheaper than Walmart and Kroger. When asking for the location of items the staff always escort to the location, none of the pointing and dreaded "you cant miss it" directions.

Its everything you could want in a Meijer store. People are nice. Produce is fresh. Store layout is functional and makes sense (except the baby stuff is placed a bit oddly). Pharmacy staff is more than helpful and accomodating. Ive been shopping here for 3 years and only had 1 issue with 1 employee which a manager immediately resolved. Good place overall.

Me and my family have been shopping at this Meijer for years. Theyve got basically everything on your shopping list at great prices. The staffs real friendly, I get great service, almost everybody in this store knows me by name, I dont know of anyplace else Id rather do the grocery shopping every week.

Very unhappy with the employees at this certain Meijer location(produce), they seem very unwilling to help or aid in any way, even when speaking to a manager I seemed to get no where, as a local business manager I know the meaning of good customer service and this place doesnt have it.

Absolute worst shopping experience. Whomever was working the self check-out around 2pm Thursday August 27th was extremely disrespectful to me and my family. In my many years working in customer service never have I witnessed such a display of blatant disrespect toward a customer.

I enjoy shopping here because most things are easy to find. If it isnt, there is usually someone close by who is willing to help. The people here are very friendly and I have yet to have a bad visit. I shop here almost daily on my way home.

I go here for everything I need, they have it all. The layout of the store and how they categories things is much more practical than Walmart. Mperks is also a great reward program. I use it all the time for great savings on everyday items.

Very disappointed in the rx refills on the phone. Told me it would be done today after 11 am and the computer has it scheduled for tomorrow. This has happened before. Why is this computer error not being fixed?! Ridiculous

Its Meijer! They have everything you need! They also have great sales and fun promotions like 10 for $10. They have an app with shopping lists and "mperks" for extra savings and coupons. Its the everything in one store.

Service has suffered over the years. How can a business doing well be too cheap to keep a larger staff. Its not like they are paying huge wages. They need to get rid of the large order self checkout.

I shop there every week. With their sales you must be sure to watch exactly what the sales say, expiration dates, weights, quantities etc. Customer service is very good.

Lines to pay always 2 long. I mean your are handing them money they can at least act like they want it... Get rid of the Uscan also and put real workers back..

Some prices are a little high, but sometimes they have great sales and clearance deals. Service is usually pretty good and employees arent too hard to find.
