Nightmare today. I completed my shopping today and after spending over $100, I get home and find out Ive got rotten potatoes. My trunk smelled like urine and when I unpacked my groceries I found out why. I make the eight mile drive back and prepared to wait in line to return the rotten potatoes. I stood waiting patiently when a man behind me started yelling for more help at the service counter. Admittedly, they only had one person working but she was working as quickly as possible. The man behind me was impatient and continued to yell at every employee he saw about getting more help. I stood patiently and quietly with my rotten potatoes. Another "supervisor" came up to a register and without a smile motioned me to her register. She never spoke a word. She circled the potatoes on my receipt as a return and gave me cash back. I stood there thinking I had to wait for something else because she never said a word - no sorry, no smile, nothing. She looked at me like I was crazy for not leaving after giving me the money for my potatoes. I asked if I was done. She asked if there was something else. I replied that I didnt know if I was done and she hadnt even spoke one word to me let alone to say sorry for the inconvenience as this was my second time getting all the way home with rotten potatoes. She was acting very frustrated. I thought she may have thought I was the guy yelling for help. I said, " I wasnt the guy yelling." Her response was "I didnt say you were." I told her that she was treating me as if I was. She blandly asked if I wanted a gift card. I explained that I just wanted my money back and to be treated nicely. When I told her I felt like she was treating me like the bad guy, she said " No, Im not." I explained that she was and I didnt know I was done because she never spoke. She argued every time I spoke. Spoke to a manager. As I was speaking to her manager - Matt - she proceeded to storm out from behind the service counter and walk out telling the manager in front of me angrily, "Im going home." A complete nightmare.. Upon leaving she was standing in between the entrance/exit doors looking angry. I asked the manager to walk out behind me so she wouldnt fight with me anymore and I could leave peacefully. The manager let me leave without paying for replacement potatoes. He seemed nice but that supervisor sure felt she could speak to him in any manner she wanted as well. Cmon Kroger. No one needs to be treated rudely when returning rotten potatoes. Dont by the 3# bags of Kroger Brand Russet Potatoes and stay away from the one supervisor and maybe youll be ok shopping here.

Everything is amazing except for deli. Everytime I come here the deli is a complete disaster. As i write this, it is a Saturday afternoon and they have a single employee working the deli counter. I was 4th on line when I got here and there is still 2 people in front of me after 20 minutes, but this is completely normal if the deli here. Edit: Ive now been here for 35 minutes as this poor lady tries to keep up with demand. A man that had done his order online came in and it wasnt ready, so she had to give him the priority. Im now next in line. Edit: 40 minutes in and the lady tagged out with another lady. Still only one person running the counter as the original employee must have gone on break. Edit: after 2 minutes, original employee came back. They now have two employees holding down the fort against the waves of hungry customers. Edit: they didnt have what i wanted. I am now settling for similar product just so i can get back to my family. Captains log, day 54: when i approached the deli counter, there was a single person in front of me in line and have been waiting for 20 minutes. My family is worried about me and Im pretty sure a county-wide search team has begun looking for me. Thursday, 8:45pm: I was actually able to walk right up to the counter and give my order. This situation is new to me and i dont know how to react. Im not sure if the Delicatessens have turned a new leaf, or if this is just an extreme fluke. Only future endeavors will tell.

I went to the store on Sunday 11.27 around 10pm. I had an issue where the produce still had old advertising from 2 days ago. When I told the girls at the register, they brushed me off and made me feel like I had no idea what I was talking about. Then I told the girl that was helping with bagging( I didnt catch her name) to come with me to show her. She was very rude when I showed her the produce and price and she just turned her back at me and walked away. I waited for the manager Bryant to come. When I told him what happened he barely listened to me and his face looked annoyed. And he even chewing his gum while talking. He said that he was sorry, but that totally was not sincere. And he just walked away, not even saying good night. Byant as manager was very unprofessional and didnt handled the situation correct. As a customer I did not feel appreciated. I felt like my words didnt matter! They need to train their staff better and teach them how to be respectful to the customers. Im very disappointed at this Kroger . Beautiful new store, but their management (Bryant) is very disappointing. Very sad!

I shop here to get the gas but I dread shopping in the store. I keep reporting in the surveys and emailing customer service which isnt much better. My coupons dont come off at the register or any money customer service downloads on my card. Every single time Im in here I have to go to the courtesy desk. This time they left the electronic alarm on a bottle of alcohol which I cant get off. Half the time no bagger or else they dont want to pick up a heavy item or they leave items on the belt. Aisles are too hard to find anything in. Always asking employees to find something. Try to find the free friday item and its nearly impossible. Talked to Managers and their too inexperienced to know how to run the store. The deli is a disaster for sure. Pizza day, no one unthawed the dough so no pizza. BOGO sub and girl only made one. Deli prices ring up full price at the register instead of the sale price. Girl rang up 99 cents for a roll when their only 34 cents. Bottle return room a total mess. I can go on and on and on.

My problem with this store is with the checkout card readers. like every other merchant that i shop at, there should be a way to bypass putting my pin number in with my chip card. Most stores just tell you to hit cancel or the green button and it bypasses the pin and i have to sign for it. but, not here. It actually makes you put your pin in. until this location has the cabality to let someone use their debit chip card without putting a pin number, l will not be shopping here.
