Swanky, stylish, over-priced... Ah, the Village of Rochester, trying ever so hard to be the next Birmingham. Though Rochester is a very nice little "village", its not for those without money to spare! Youll pay more for everything within the city limits of Rochester just because it is, well, Rochester. Ugh. Also, downtown Rochester has an inordinate amount of police patrolling on foot, on bicycles & Segways, and in vehicles -- seemingly far more than necessary for a city of this size. Just sayin. Moral of the story, avoid downtown Rochester unless otherwise unavoidable. Sure, the Village of Rochester is a great place to raise a family, but a terrible place to be a regular patron of its establishments.

A few shops offering familiar brands , and plenty of good restaurants sprinkled in between , all in a beautiful outdoor mall setting . A big Whole Foods on one end and a big retail store at the other . If these stores dont have what you need, you will at least get a great walk in :) Go visit!

I like this place. There are plenty of stores shop at & I like the layout. I loved shopping there when it was called Meadowbrook Village & I miss the convenience of shopping when it was there because everything was enclosed. But I like this layout too.

Theres a variety of shops and theres a lot of space for parking. I went during the art market and there were still places to park, despite how busy it was. Theres art and flowers here along the sidewalk, which heightens the positive experience here.

A go to place for anyone visiting Rochester Hills area. Lots of diversity in the stores and a beautiful place to tour. A small oasis in the midst of many other chain shops and strip malls. Prices can be expensive but never unbearable.

Very nice setting for shopping with a downtown feel. Always decorated nicely for the seasons. Mostly high end shops but you can find a deal if you search. lol Good place to walk around and spend time with friends and family.

A terrific variety of not just the same old stores is anchored by Whole Foods & Carsons, a totally manageable department store. Also, the variety of restaurants, easy parking & great people watching, make it a favorite.

Nice outdoor mall (outdoor meaning you have to go outside to get to each store.) The stores are generally pricey though, when I know I could just drive to Great Lakes Crossing to get better deals on the same brands.

Lots of shops. I went up here the other weekend. There was an Easter Bunny picture area going on with a lot of people to see him. I still had no issue with finding parking. This is a nice outdoor style mall.

Open air, chic California style mall with stores like Carson, Eddie Bauer, William Sonoma, Gap, Victoria Secret, Wholefoods, and a few popular restaurants. Nice landscape where you can take a leisure stroll.

Love the shops and the landscaping. Great for just walking and window shoping or stopping into some of the small speciality shops. Many fun events are held here so keep an eye on the Rochester events page.

Great outdoor "mall". The art festival this year did not seem as good as past years. I usually always come home with some piece of art. Weather was great, just low attendance for a Saturday.

Nice and clean plaza! Good combination of food, shopping and even a spa! Rated 4 stars because the shopping demographic is focused towards women, not much for mens clothes or outdoorsman.

What can really be said? It is Rochester. The name and experience pretty much speak for themselves. I havent met anyone who has visited Rochester that greet it with a frowny face.

If youre a bored housewife with more money than taste or sense in your head, this is your mall. Unless you like burgers, then B spot is pretty good too.

Its great, friendly and has just about everything you might ever need in it. But the parking is trash, and the people are stuck up, mean and nasty.

One of my daughters favorite malls. Excellent assortment of stores and while the pricing is a bit higher than most malls, reasonable for the area.

Open air shopping mall. Dont know much about the stores, but the shoppers lean towards middle-upper-middle class snobs. Theres a Whole Foods here.

Enchanting outdoor shopping/dining experience by day and by night. Surrounded by an affluent neighborhood, and full of beauty.

Attractive but not always affordable... higher end shops make up majority of options, but fun to stroll and people watch.

I love this outdoor mall, but it is a place for what I would call stuck up people. The stores are mostly for richers.
